The Awe sports a 4-inch IPS display at an underwhelming 480x800 resolution, a 5-megapixel rear camera (1MP out front) and is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8630 processor at 1.2 GHz. A: Smartphones operate on a sort of spectrum. On one end you could put battery life, on the other end all those options like wifi/3g/4g sync (among other things). If you want great battery life you can't have those on all the time. If you want those on all the time, you won't get great battery life. It is best to find the compromise that works best for you and what you want most out of your phone. Here are a couple of things that you could consider - adjust the screen brightness, do not use live wallpapers, switch off networks when not in use (WIFI, Blue

BOOTLOOP on ZTE Awe, sleep crash as well, PLEASE HELP!

Sunday 24th of November 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
I rooted my ZTE Awe and had downloaded Font Installer, just to mess around with some fonts. But when I tried to load my backup on Font Installer, my phone crashed and can now only be fully booted with a manual factory reset EVERY TIME. Otherwise I get stuck on the ZTE splash screen. Is there anything I can do to restore my ROM? I'm assuming that's the issue. There are no tutorials for ZTE phones, let alone the Awe.

Zte awe charger question

Friday 29th of November 2013 / androidforums.com
So i just bought the ZTE Awe, and when i read through the manual i found that it said "WARNING: Use only ZTE-approved chargers and cables. The use of unapproved accessories could damage your phone or cause the battery to explode." Does every phone's manual say this and should i really ONLY use this brand of charger? And what are some of the problems if i don't?

Considering LG F3 vs ZTE Awe, Any Issues?

Tuesday 03rd of December 2013 / androidforums.com
I had the ZTE Awe recently coming from a Kyocera Rise. I need a phone I can COUNT on, to wit:(1) No "lagging" with basic tasks (Kyocera Rise)(2) No flaky GPS (Reverb after Jellybean, Motorola Triumph), get a lock within 10 seconds of when I first ask for one, even with me leaving GPS off all the time until I need it(3) No "loop rebooting" (ZTE Awe)(4) Battery life must last, and I mean LAST (my Rise often-times was dead by lunch)(5) Removable battery and microSD(6) No scenarios of "it ran great until the recent OTA update now it lags" (Reverb getting JB, S3 getting 4.3)(7) If possible, don't download megabytes of updates from the start making Google Play take forever before I can start installing appsI don't do hard-gore caming, just the very occasional Angry Birds, I run apps like Opera Mini, Dolphin Mini, Fast for Facebook, ColorNotes. But my experiences have been this:(1) My Rise initially is okay, but after awhile lags with EVERYTHING, so much so that when someone calls I am unable to answer because it takes that long for the phone icons to populate.
