Tuesday 29th of May 2012 / android.stackexchange.com
After upgrading to new Android version (Ice Cream Sandwich) my camera cannot focus. All the pictures made by my phone are blurry (not focused). I tried to reset camera settings to default, I tried clearing apps data (of my camera), I installed another camera application - nothing helped.Interesting is, that the camera can focus on objects, that are relatively close (50 cm) but object that are further are blurry. My front-camera works fine (the one on the display side)Any ideas? Thanks

Fix of Outlook Sync with CompanionLink/DejaOffice After Upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich

Thursday 12th of July 2012 / android.net

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Series Delayed due to Ice Cream Sandwich

Wednesday 04th of April 2012 / androidheadlines.com
Looks like Sammy ran into a little bit of a quandary and are going to have to push back the release of their Galaxy Tab 2 series. The reason…TouchWiz! Okay the “real” reason is that they need more time to work on their TouchWiz flavored ICS. So ICS is really to blame even though there would not be a problem if they would just not use that silly TouchWiz. It is a world I would like to live in one day.The tablets will be delayed until the end of April when the 7-inch and 10.1 inch were supposed to be released in the UK last month. This comes from a Samsung s…Continue Reading HereSamsung Galaxy Tab 2 Series Delayed due to Ice Cream SandwichDavid Pena – androidspin.com

[Rumor Smash] Official: Samsung Galaxy S II Will Be Updated To Ice Cream Sandwich On A Day That Definitely Isn't March 10th

Saturday 09th of March 2013 / androidpolice.com
We'd heard whispers that the Galaxy S II might be getting an update to Android 4.0 on March 10th. After the announcement was immediately yanked from Samsung's site, we were skeptical. It turns out those suspicions were confirmed tonight via Samsung's official Twitter account. The date was errantly posted by Samsung's Filipino arm. While the SGSII may not be receiving its update tomorrow, this does at least let us know that Samsung is working on it. Not that we really doubted, but after nearly four months, it's nice to hear some official word, even if it took an internet rumor to get it. It's also worth noting that whenever that update does happen, it's unlikely that US variants will receive the update at the same time, since the software still needs to get run by the carriers.Grab a snack, fellow SGSII owners. We've still got a bit of waiting to do for this one. When updates do start to roll out, though, we'll make sure you know for sure.Source: Samsung (Korean), via The Verge Tags:false rumorsGalaxy S IIIce Cream Sandwich 4.0Newsrumor smashSamsungupdate

2.3 gingerbread - Samsung Galaxy S2 support for Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich

Saturday 03rd of December 2011 / android.stackexchange.com
This post indicates that Samsung Galaxy S2 may get Android 4.0. I am planning to buy S2 and I have the following questions. Is Galaxy S2 compatible to run Android 4.0? If Samsung is not releasing Android 4.0 for Galaxy S2, is there a way that I can install it manually? Will that cause any issues? Will installing Android manually affects the phone warranty? Any help would be appreciated

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Series Delayed due to Ice Cream Sandwich

Okay the “real” reason is that they need more time to work on their TouchWiz flavored ICS. So ICS is really to blame even though there would not be a problem if they would just not use that silly TouchWiz. It is a world I would like to live in one day.The tablets will be delayed until the end of April when the 7-inch and 10.1 inch were supposed to be released in the UK last month. This comes from a Samsung spokesperson who had a nice little chat with IDG. Throwing the TouchWiz skin over ICS has been a little thorn in Samsung’s side even though they have had the source code longer than any other manufacturer. So it is not a major delay, and I am sure Samsung will get the tablets out when they say they do. Just wish they would do away with TouchWiz but that is not going to happen anytime soon. Let us know what you guys think of this.Source: The Verge
