Where does Android store Google Play music files

Saturday 03rd of November 2012 / forums.androidcentral.com
I bought an album using Google Play and can play it successfully. But I checked the Keep On Device option which I assume downloads it to the device? If this is true, where is it stored on my phone?

Thursday 06th of December 2012 / android.stackexchange.com
Where does Android store the default application settings that connects each type of content with a designated application?I mean which application open each kind of file or content type so if I got two PDF readers and I downloaded a PDF file android will use one of them without letting the user an option to choose.I know I can clear the default settings of an application but it's not what I'm looking for.I want to find the table/database/file that android uses for this.Is it in a sqlite database file? Where is it stored ?

Where does market store the .apk files?

Friday 21st of January 2011 / androidforums.com
Where does the market store the files it downloads. I need a copy of the newest Pandora, but can't find it anywhere on my phone. I want to Theme the widget, and I have an old copy that I themed... but I'd like the newest one if possible. If anyone knows where market stores the files that would be great, or has a copy of the newest Pandora.apk... thanks.

Where does the phone store sms files???

Monday 18th of July 2011 / androidforums.com
I have been using a file manager to try and find the text files for my LG Vortex Android, but can't seem to find them. Everything i've read says I should either look in the SYSTEM folder and then find the sms folder, which doesn't seem to exist, or look in data/data/....mmssms.db but there is no "data" folder within my "data" folder... Does anyone know where the vortex actually saves the sms information, and how I could access it using a file manager? Thanks!Dave

Android voice recorder with unlimited recording time

Monday 23rd of July 2012 / android.stackexchange.com
I've tried the Bighand and Tape-a-Talk Voice Recorder apps, but both only seem to record continuously for about 1 hour. Is there an Android app which will allow me to record until I run out of storage space?
