Auto-syncing photos from phone to Nexus 7

Monday 20th of August 2012 / forums.androidcentral.com
I'm a relatively new Android user so excuse the silly questions. I'm with Virgin Mobile (trying to cut costs; just became a father) and I have a LG Optimus Slider. When I take pictures with the camera they go to my stock Gallery app. I got my Nexus 7 several weeks ago, and now I want to use it to show my friends and family pictures of my son taken with my camera phone. The stock Gallery app shows up on the Nexus also. Now I'm confused but I expected since the app appears on both platforms that it would sync automatically, or that when I refresh it from either end it would, but it apparently does not. Am I missing something? If Gallery does not sync from my phone to my Nexus 7, what is the most convenient way to do this? I want the pictures to be synced effortlessly, automatically. I don't need editing features, just something to carry it across platforms. What's the easiest way to do this? Thanks

Bump for Android now lets you move photos from phone to PC

Friday 25th of May 2012 / androidauthority.com
Do you remember that cool Android app that lets you transfer photos from one Android phone to another by simply, well bumping two Android phones together? Right, it’s the app called Bump.If you liked the idea behind the app, wait until you hear what we have to report. The Bump for Android app was just updated to version 3.3.0 and, guess what, the app has one new feature that greatly extends its capabilities. That feature is the ability to “magically” transfer photos from your phone to your PC.What’s great about this new feature is the fact that you don’t have to install anything, except, of course, the app on your phone. After installing the update, you just need to visit bu.mp on your desktop brower, open the app on your phone, and select the photos that you want to transfer to your PC. Then, slightly tap the spacebar on your PC’s keyboard using your phone. Boom! The photos will pop up on your browser. You’ll then have the option to share the photos immediately with your friends or to download them on your computer’s hard drive. That

Recovering deleted photos from phone memory

Monday 13th of January 2014 / androidforums.com
Hello - I've deleted nearly 400 photos from the phone memory - not SD card - and have connected phone (HTC Desire X) to the PC via USB, and have checked the USB debugging is connected. The device shows as a portable device on the PC, so I can't use Recuva or other downloaded programs to scan it. Is anyone able to help me connect the phone in a way that will have it recognised as a drive with a letter please?
