Unlock Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 Bootloader with EZ-Unlock

Friday 17th of August 2012 / android.gs
As you know, the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 cannot have its bootloader that easily but, now,  you can finally use this guide here and learn how to correctly unlock your smartphone. Make sure that your device is rooted before applying the tutorial. Some guys at rootzwiki and XDA managed to create several tools that you can use to unlock the bootloader of your Verizon variant of Galaxy S3 using an One-Click application from Google’s Play Store. For the moment this application will only unlock your device, as the ‘re-lock’ function ins’t supported and you cannot restore the lock state. The application that you will use is called VZW GS3 EZ-Unlock (Bootloader) and it has been created by ‘mmmeff’. If you wish to use this tool on your Verizon SGS3 you will need to root your device and a guide to help you do that can be found here. If your device is already rooted then you can move straight to the tutorial guide. Now that you’ve read all of the above, I think that now you’re ready to unlock your smartphones bootloader with this 1-click unlocking

Unlock Verizon GS3 Bootloader using 1-click app method

Friday 17th of August 2012 / androinica.com
If you are looking for an easy and simple way to unlock the bootloader on your Verizon Wireless Samsung Galaxy S III, then you will be pleased to know an app is now available in the Google Play Store that will perform the deed in just one click.A couple of days ago, we first reported that several devs were able to unlock the bootloader on the Verizon GS3, but this involved code manipulations on Linux or Mac OS X.  The VZW GS3 EZ-Unlocked (Bootloader) app that recently launched in the Play Store will perform the unlock method assuming your device is already rooted.  After unlocking the bootloader, users can run “non-kexec” AOSP roms.As always, proceed at your own caution only if you know what you are doing.  Be sure to let us know how the process goes if you choose to use the app method.[EZ-Unlock Play Store Listing]

Possible to unlock Verizon DROID Razr?

Thursday 27th of December 2012 / androidforums.com
Hi all, I've been doing searching to find a solution to this and frankly I am overwhelmed. I am very good with computers, but technical cellphone jargon confuses me since I don't know what much of it means (I have never been into cellphone modding or hacking). Is it possible to unlock my Verizon DROID Razr? I bought it as part of a 2 year contract, am looking to drop the contract and switch to a less expensive provider. The model number is MOTXT912-16, if you need any other details just let me know and I will provide them. I am also located in the USA.If it is possible to unlock this Verizon phone (so I can insert a T-Mobile SIM for example) I'd like to know how the general process works, and where I can find a guide. This information will be very helpful to me, because I've been reading some people that say its possible, and others say it isn't. Thanks!

change.org *Petition to unlock Verizon bootloader*

Wednesday 11th of September 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hey guys, I'm known as T Greezy over at XDA. I thought I'd come over and use my first post as a good first impression. Everyone knows about the Verizon S4 bootloader problem. So here's my post, word for word, at XDA. I just want to spread awareness! With the bounty of almost $4,000 (last time I checked) you would think that someone/recognized dev or team, would step up to this bounty of unlocking the bootloader on the Verizon variant of the S4. Even since the ME7 update, (mid July?), I am surprised! I thought I would put in my 2 cents of the topic. There is a website called change.org, which is an online petition website. I'm sure some of you have heard it. Anyways, I saw a petition of the LG 4X. A guy made up a petition to unlock the boot loader. Soon enough, the amount of required signatures was reached, and LG came out with an update and BAM. Boot loader unlocked. Here is the link: I'm going to create an petition for the Verizon S4, and hopefully, this works. Just a little bit of hope for you guys, I want it just as bad as everyone else. You need to create an account on change.o

does anyone know how too change droid 4 apn and unlock verizon from the phone?

Sunday 24th of November 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
ok, so i bought a droid 4 from a friend, got a decent deal on the phone, i went and bought straight talks byop thing. they have sim cards for at&t and t-mobile. so i rooted the phone thinking i could gain access too the apn and change the build info from verizon too at&t or4 to straight talk. that didn't work, or at least i can't figure out how too make it work. so i called motorola, they said they don't have the unlock code and i needed to get a hold of verizon, i called verizon, the tech guy there said he wasn't allowed too give out the unlock code, he seemed like he wanted too but was paranoid about his call being monitored, he said the phone can be unlocked and the apn changed too any carrier tho. so i am stuck trying too figure out how too do it. i literally have searched google, tried numerous programs, tried numerous tips, to no avail, nothing seems too give me access too editing the apn and or changing the build number and system version too get rid of the verizon. does anyone on here have any idea's or tips i can try?
