Samsung Galaxy S GT i9000 internal sd card not working and touchscreen not responding.

Monday 20th of August 2012 / everythingandroid.org
Hi. I have a Samsung galaxy S i9000 running a Jellybean 4.1 custom ROM. (http:// androidadvices. com/update-galaxy-gt-i9000-stable-jellybean-411-firmware/#.UDHz6t1mT9c) Everything's working fine until today when my laptop (Win7 OS) froze up while I was formatting the internal sd card of my phone.I restarted the laptop and phone and the internal sd card cannot be detected by either device anymore. I tried to format the sd card multiple times to no avail. I tried to flash stock GB ROM. ODIN can detect the phone but cannot complete the process. It fails on "Setting Up Connection". Up to the above process I was able to use my phone (it turns itself on, just can't use internal sd card). However, I made a stupid mistake of doing factory reset, cache wipe, and dalvik cache to reflash the JB ROM in hopes that it will fix it. Now, my phone is stuck on the Welcome screen (one with Choose Language and Start to setup) but the touchscreen isn't working so I can't select Start. The buttons on either side of the center button works, though. Only the touchscreen function is not working.

[Q] touchscreen not responding

Tuesday 23rd of April 2013 / androidtablets.net
I have a Zeki tb1082b. The touchscreen is not responding. I can use a mouse. Tablet will not enter recovery mode by holding vol- and tapping reset on back. (procedure on Zeki site) I can erase and recover from settings menu. I have done this 2x and still not working. The back of the tablet says TB1082B FID BN. About tablet screen say TB1082 (don't know if this matters) running 4.0.3. The box says that is what it suppose to be running. I have tried using LiveSuit but I can not get it into recovery mode. Step 5 says get it into update mode. I do not know if this is the same thing. There is no damage to the screen or anywhere on the tablet. I tried to update from settings it comes up with an error and says no update available. Please help. Thanks

Touchscreen stops responding

Tuesday 20th of July 2010 / androidforums.com
Hey all,Has anyone had any problems with their touchscreen not responding occasionally? I've only had my X10 mini pro for a day and it's done it like 4 times already.I don't seem to see a pattern to when it occurs - usually it's after you wake it up from sleep, and the touchscreen doesn't respond anymore. hardware buttons and the keyboard works, but not the touchscreen.I've been using the power button + keyboard to shutdown and restart the phone as a workaround but it's getting kinda annoying. Thanks!

Touchscreen not responding - idea for use

Saturday 06th of October 2012 / androidforums.com
My OG Droid touchscreen finally stopped responding, but I want to see if there is a way to still use it as a gauge display in my car (using Torque). The main issue is that I did a reset on it (hoping the issue was software related) and now I am stuck at the "Welcome to Droid - Touch the android to begin" screen which I can't bypass - keep in mind, the touchscreen is not working.Any ideas out there? Keep in mind:1) Stock setup, no custom recovery installed.2) Touchscreen not responding, but keyboard does work.

Touchscreen Not Responding!

Tuesday 28th of February 2012 / androidforums.com
Okayy, I installed the MIUI Rom about a week ago and everything was going great! I didn't install any weird apps or configure anything really, and all of a sudden the touch screen randomly stopped responding! I can turn the phone on and off by using the power button, but still the touch screen isn't working. Even the Menu,Back,Search, and the other button aren't responding. Please respond if you can help me!

[HELP!] Touchscreen not responding anymore

Wednesday 21st of September 2011 / androidtablets.net
Hello,I'm a proud owner of a Dawa D9 (Utopia G10) Android 2.2 tablet for about 5 weeks. It played very well (no trouble with SD card, WiFi...) until a few days when the touchscreen started not to respond anymore when turning on the tablet...Hopefully, my tablet came with an USB keyboard so I'm still able to turn it off with it.After 1 or 2 turning off (3 turning off yesterday evening... it becomes worse day after day !!!), the touchscreen is responding again.Sometimes, when the touchscreen works on the 1st try, it's blocking after a few seconds when I'm running the 'Comica' app (not even tried another app yet).I don't think it's from Comica as the app worked well for the first 4 weeks of use.I didn't do anything apart from installing some free apps (games and book readers) directly from the android market. So no firmware flash, hard reset or update of any kind (I don't even know how I would do that).I saw on different threads here and on other boards that the problem happened with other tablets too (not only Dawa/Utopia branded) but couldn't find any solution. Can someone here help me

Touchscreen Not Responding, Not Digitizer's Fault

Thursday 17th of October 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hey guys, I recently bought an HTC Inspire 4G from my friend because she was getting a new phone and I had a crappy flip phone. It worked fine the duration of the time she used it, up until the day she sold it to me. It wasn't her fault as she isn't the type of person to con me out of 20 bucks, and I was the one who offered to buy it anyway. Onto the problem. The phone has intermittent issues with the touchscreen not responding, and is on and off. A restart DOES NOT fix the problem, however sometimes charging it does fix the problem. Recently however, the screen stopped working altogether, so I ordered a new digitizer and replaced it. At first it worked, and then it started to be intermittent again. I am clueless as to what this could be. Any help?

If I double push on the home button it takes me to the S Voice and I can hit the back button and it will take me out to my home screen. My home button, back button and menu button works but nothing on my screen. ANY ideas ?
