Flash LG/Samsung CDMA phones to Tracphone/Safelink/Straight Talk/Net 10 CDMA phones

Monday 29th of April 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hello, I am new to these forums and I do not know if I posted this in the correct thread but I just wanted to share my knowledge with other people. I have successfully flashed a Sprint LG Optimus S to Safelink, a MetroPCS LG Marquee to Net10, and a Verizon Galaxy S3 to Tracfone! This will not work on other phones like HTC because it is really hard to reset the ESN on the phones.(But be my guest and give it a shot). I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU BRICK OR DAMAGE YOUR PHONE!!!! ESN is NOT illegal IF you have the donor phone with you! P.S Sorry for my bad English Here are the things that you will need: 1) DFS 3.0 (or higher)2) CDMA Tool (2.7 or Higher)3) A Safelink/ Tracfone/ Net10/Straight Talk donor phone (It needs to be a new phone or it will not work unless you change your phone number)4) The phone's usb cable5) The phone's USB/Modem drivers (Google is your friend)6) The phone you want to flash to Safelink/ Tracfone/ Net10/Straight Talk7) Safelink/ Tracfone/ Net10/Straight Talk PRL file : Step 1: Connect the phone via USB and wait for the drivers to install (if not done already). Best prepaid Gsm carrier in terms of data allowance.

Tuesday 02nd of July 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
I have virgin mobile and it's great on data, but I like changing phones(often) and VM really cripples that ability. I'm going to buy a gsm phone from Newegg, so I can get something compatible with either tmo or att frequency. I know there's straight talk, net 10, h2o or gosmart. Anyone I should avoid or that's a great value. I don't talk much, I mainly text and use data. Thanks Sent from my KFTT using Tapatalk 2

I Need APN for skyrocket with Straight talk Tmobile sim.

Thursday 05th of September 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
I have an Unlocked Galaxy SII skyrocket and I cant get the right APN for the straight talk T-mobile sim to allow picture sms.I tried Straight talks apn settings and they don't work, I spent 1.5 hours on the phone with straight talk CS and I don't think they have a clue about there service, so no luck there. Now I'm just real frustrated.I can SMS regular text, I can connect to the internet but,Just can't send any pictures. I was using the Net 10 tmobile sim with the APN for that on this phone but REALLY dont like net 10 at all.Any one have any clues? or better yet the right APN to use with the T-Mobile straight talk sim on the Galaxy Skyrocket ?

Straight Talk or Net 10?

Saturday 04th of January 2014 / forums.androidcentral.com
I am on Net10 ATT with two numbers one for me one for the wife. We pay $85 monthly. Would there be any advantage to switching to ST, since they are owned by the same company. I would not consider T-MOBILE since the service in my building is almost nonexistent. Posted via Android Central App
