Straight Talk APN settings

Saturday 16th of February 2013 / androidforums.com
Here are my Straight Talk settings for the AT&T sim. I've used these settings since day one, and they've been perfect so far. MMS has always worked, and I've had people text me at different times/locations to verify this (I'm OCD about everything working properly).I've seen that lots of people are confused about what settings to use or what combination works, and these settings work perfectly. HSPA+ is great and almost always have full signal, even where I live in rural Virginia.I'll attach a screen shot below of my latest speedtest.net testing. I usually average about 4.2 Mbps down and 1.2 Mbps up.*I also forgot to add that you don't have to have a separate MMS APN with these settings. You can use only one APN with these settings. Name:Straight Talk ATT (whatever you like)APN: att.mvnoProxy: Not setPort: Not setUsername: Not setPassword: Not setServer: Not setMMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.comMMS proxy: 66.209.11.33MMS port: 80MCC: 310MNC: 410Authentication type: Not setAPN type: default, supl, mms, hipri (no spaces)APN protocol: IPv4APN roaming protocol: IPv4APN enable/disable: checke

Straight Talk APN Settings for Internet and MMS for At&T Samsung Galaxy SII Skyrocket

Saturday 30th of March 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Like many new ST customers, I had issues with my service, as well. I am using an At&t Samsung Galaxy II Skyrocket, on Straight Talk, running Jellybean 4.2. I recently activated my Skyrocket on ST and had issues accessing the internet and sending/receiving mms with the APN setting that ST has on its website. After putting these APN settings in, below, my calls, internet, & mms are now all working great. I have all 4 bars inside of my house, I am able to send and receive pic txt & calls, & access the internet. After saving these APN settings, powering down my phone, and then restarting my phone, it took a good hour or so before everything started working properly. My APN settings are: Name: straight talk APN: att.mvno Proxy: proxy.mvno.tracfone.com Port: 80 Server: not set MMSC: MMS proxy: mms2.tracfone.com MMS port: 80 MCC:310 MNC: 410 Authentication type: none APN type: not set I hope this helps.....

Straight Talk APN Settings for Internet and MMS for At&T Samsung Infuse i997

Monday 13th of May 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
HELP! I am getting so very frustrated, I can only sometimes access the Net on my Infuse with Straight Talk and cannot hear anything on phone calls. Text messages come and go just fine but picture messages come through far and few in between. Straight Talk of course says nothing is wrong on their end and it's all me. I can make phone calls perfectly through my PINGER app so I know it is not my phone. I have tried so many APNS through different threads. The following being the most common reoccurring one but I am not able to save that APN and MNC will not change to 410, 41 but not 410. But it doesn't matter any way because I am not able to save the APN. Please Help I am so frustrated. APN for Straight Talk reverts back to AT&T APN

Friday 21st of June 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
I just bought a S2 Skyrocket from Amazon for my wife. It was new and unlocked, but arrived with the AT&T APN. As I was going to activate the phone with an Straight Talk (AT&T) sim card, I contacted Straight Talk's Bring Your Own Phone department to get the correct APN for the phone on their service. I went to the phone's APN page, selected "Add APN" then entered the settings Straight Talk provided. I saved the changes and selected the new APN for the phone. I tried to delete the original AT&T APN, but all the phone would let me do is "Disable" it. The Straight Talk APN worked fine yesterday, getting us very good down and upload speeds, however today I could not get the phone to connect to a webpage without using Wifi. I went back to the APN page and found that the phone had deleted the Straight Talk APN entirely and had reactivated the AT&T APN. I re-did the setup of the Straight Talk APN and again the phone was working fine. What allowed the phone to delete my APN and revert back to the original one and how can I stop it from happening? I tried to

Straight Talk APN Settings?????

Wednesday 06th of November 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
I have been using straight talk for about a year with no problems. I recently had to set my phone back to factory defaults, once that happened I couldn't get on the network. I was on the phone with the Tech people imputing the correct APN settings. It says i'm now connected to the network but I can't access the internet. The apps that i do have have no problem talking to the network either, the only problem is the internet. Please help...I can't sit on the phone again for another 30 minutes.
