Rooting Issue... E:signature verification failed?

Friday 09th of November 2012 /
Hey everyone. I am trying to root my fiance's Tab 2 7". I used the steps posted on XDA. I got Clockwork Mod 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich recovery on it with Odin PDA. I added the update to the SD card, and tried to install via apply update from external storage. Then that is when I get trouble. It goes from finding update, to opening update package, and verifying package... the it says in red E:signature verification failed! I then went back in to the dev menu and turned on usb debugging and allow mock locations. And it didn't help. Not sure if the update package is good or if I missed any steps. Any help with this would greatly be appreciated. Thank You,Extreme Wilson

coby kyros mid7015 E: signature varification failed

Thursday 03rd of February 2011 /
Just bought the coby kyros mid 7015 yesterday. Went to the Coby website and wached the "video help >> how to update MID7015 firmware" Downloaded the " firmware update for the MID7015 ( " to my computer... my apple macintosh macbook. The video says to make sure not to unzip the file, but the mac automatically does... i try to compress it.. The file transfers, to the SD card... when I do the reboot i wipe the data as instructed, then apply SD card... I get a response E:signature verification failed ..... I tried calling Coby for support, they basically took a message and will call me back in 24 - 48 hours... very crappy.. also noticed in the paper quick start guide, it says to install the memory card with the metal contacts facing upwards towards the screen... WRONG, no wonder why people are having trouble with the SD slot, jamming the thing in the way they're told prolly... haha.. any way I need help! I dont know if the problem is from opening the zip and compressing it, or if its a problem with the tablet... The kyros is supposed to be "Compat

e:signature verification failed error help!!!!

Tuesday 26th of November 2013 /
I purchased a Galaxy Note 2 from Ebay and when I received it I found out that it was rooted with Jelly Bean and TWRP. I deleted TWRP and now need to install the samsung file. The problem is that Odin doesn't recognize when the phone is attached so I'm trying to do everything via SD card. I tried installing the file via SD card and get e:signature verification failed every time. I have wiped data and cache numerous times. I can't figure out how to turn off the toggle. The only screen that I can get to come up on the phone is:reboot system nowapply update from adbapply update from external storagewipe data/ factory resetwipe cache partitionapply update from cache How do I get past this e:signature verification failed screen? Also, this is the first time I've ever tried anything like this (in case you couldn't tell) so if you could please keep it as simple as possible I will be forever greatful! Thank you!
