Skitch for Android – Now includes highlighting of maps, saving to your SD Card

Wednesday 29th of February 2012 / androidheadlines.com
You ever come across one of those applications where it seems like an obvious feature is missing and you wonder why the heck it isn't there? I felt that way about Skitch until tonight. Previously when using Skitch, you couldn't save files to the SD Card fo your device but now with the latest update you can do that and more: Maps in Skitch – Skitch is great for eliminating ambiguity: draw attention to a person in a photo or point out where that new sofa should go. And now, you can even take the ambiguity out of giving directions. S2 can't write to ext SD Card

Tuesday 18th of June 2013 / androidforums.com
My phone's done something so I can't write to my SD Card. It's clearly something with the phone, the OS, apps, not sure. The SD Card is fine. It can be written to when connected directly to my computer as an attached drive, but it can't be written to when explored on my computer when it's still in the phone, connected by USB, and some apps simply don't work on it now (e.g. MyBackup Pro, except right after a phone reboot).I've reformatted the SD card several times using SD Formatter, used different SD Cards, but the results are always the same. One symptom of this issue is I can write to the SD Card from the phone immediately after the phone reboots, but only for a minute or so. Apps such as Zedge will load if I try them right after rebooting the phone. However, after a couple of minutes after rebooting, if I try to load Zedge, it gives me "SD-card required for this application". The same goes for MyBackup Pro - it either won't backup or fails during the zip file creation.I can take pictures, but when I try to access the resulting shots on the ext SD Card from the phone I get

Move photos to ext sd card failed

Monday 05th of August 2013 / androidforums.com
I selected 30 small photos and went to move them to ext sd card, as I've done before. Unfortunately, the ext sd card was not in place in the phone at the time. Now the photos are not showing in the original sd location. Any recovery possible? Any recommended apps? Thanks a lot. The photos are of my mother-in-law-to-be (?) at her 75th birthday party.

Photos not saving to micro sd card ?????

Friday 16th of August 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
So when I download or take or save photos or video they are saving to my Tab 3 10" instead of saving to my 32gb Sandisk Micro SDHC card,,,, so my 16gb Tab 3 is getting close to running out of storage,,,,I have lots of photos and vids I exported over from my ipad. I didn't realize everything was NOT going to my SD card untill my Tab 3 alerted me to the fact my storage was limited,,,,,, sure enough I checked the storage menu and my SD card is virtually un-used. I've gone all thur the menus and settings (I know Android OS fairly well) and can't find a fix ??? Yes,,,, I do have the correct SD card and is does work,,,, I formatted it and installed it in my Tab 3 and it showed up when i installed it and shows up in my Gallery's, but with only a few pictures saved on the card itself,,,,,,,,, my GS4, my Note 2 and my GS3 all worked fine with SD card storage and I thought my Tab 3 was working as well with my micro SD card,,,,, very frustrating !!! Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance CheersDavyo
