Love my new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 but have a few questions.

Tuesday 08th of January 2013 / androidtablets.net
Howdy all, Sorry if this post is in the wrong section (I'm new to the forums). I recently bought myself a new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet for Xmas and am loving it so far. This is my very 1st tablet, but i have always owned Samsung products from T.V, Fridge, Cell Phone, Camera ect....Love Samsung. I have been exploring all the features of my new tablet and am slowly picking up on stuff, but there are a few things i read about on the forums here which got me to thinking (forgive my noobness on some of these questions). 1) What exactly is/does Dual Mode Wifi mean & why is it an important feature? 2) What is "Wacom Digitizer layer" mean/do? 3) I have seen some talk about "BT 4" What exactly is that? 4) My tablet is Wifi only - Will i get the new Jeely Bean update coming out or do i have to download it from the internet or take it to Best Buy for them to install it????Any tips and/or tricks you can inform me about are very welcomed!!! Thanks for taken the time to read this post, and again sorry about the noob questions!

This tablet sits squarely in the high-end category at $499.99, and attempts to take on the iPad directly. Even though this is named after the Galaxy Note "phablet" it is more than just an enlarged version of that device. In some ways it is a surprisingly superior product to the iPad. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet Gets Treated to Some iFixit-style Mutilation

Monday 20th of August 2012 / androidtablets.net
The folks over at iFixit are like the tech world's version of "Leonardo Da Vinci," only for gadgets instead of cadavers. They are at it again, and this time they have the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Android Tablet on the operating table. In the end, after disassembling the device, they gave it a repair-ability score of 8 out of 10. That's a respectable number. Here are some of the stats from their analysis: 16 connectors
