Full Tilt Poker brings real gambling to Android 2.2, Flash

Monday 22nd of November 2010 / androinica.com
The first Android app that lets people play poker against real opponents for real money has landed in the Android Market. Full Tilt Poker Rush Mobile is available now for devices that have Android 2.2 and support Flash 10.1. Users who meet those requirements can sign-up now and start playing poker for actual money deposited into their Full Tilt accounts rather than the virtual currency typically used in mobile poker games.Full Tilt reports that this is just a beta app and users may experience some lag or connectivity issues. However, the app uses Rush Poker to increase speed and action at the table, so that may help decrease the chance of a long round leading to problems.A FullTiltPoker.com account is required, as is a deposit of money into your account. A 100% deposit of up to $600 will be matched for your initial deposit. Open the Android Market and download the app to begin play. A list of compatible devices and frequently asked questions can be found here. The legality of online poker varies depending on your location, so I’ll leave it up to our readers to determine if they

Wednesday 14th of July 2010 / droidforums.net
14. Jul, 2010 written by Tal Schechter / Androidheadlines.com You don’t have to play your internet casino games just at your desk any more. The All Slots Mobile Casino is now available for Android. Ok, ok, so it has been available for a little while now, but only in the browser. Now there is an app, soon to be added to Android Market. What is better about the app, you ask? Mostly, sound effects. The parent company, Jackpot Factory Group, has been working on this for a little while, and they are quite proud to be the first mobile casino app in the Android Market. It’s not in the Market quite yet, but if you need it right now, go to i.allslotscasino.com on your Android. One might wonder about the safety and security of gambling real money over your phone. Well, the app was developed by Spin3, makers of lottery and casino platforms for lots of mobile devices. It’s powered by Microgaming, which apparently has a good history with dealing with mobile money. The mobile site for All Slots Casino has Royal Derby, Roulette, Blackjack, Video Poker, a couple instant win games,

Gamble REAL $$ with FULL TILT Poker coming to Android

Saturday 16th of October 2010 / androidheadlines.com
If you weren’t lucky enough to be a FULL TILT “Black Card” member, then you’re gambling habits will have to wait. Email invitations have gone out to those members giving them a BETA peak at what I’m sure will be another hit on Android. The app is currently being called RUSH POKER MOBILE and will be on devices running Android 2.2 froyo. I know there are plenty of poker games on the market so no big deal right? Well FULL TILT is looking to one up the rest of those apps by allowing the use of  what? REAL MONEY, that’s right, your hard-earned cash.  The poker app itself will be based on FULL TILT’s Rush Poker format, where players can fold hands right away and move to another table to be dealt back in. From Full Tilt:It gives Android devices another advantage as Apple refuses to allow real money gambling via its app storeBelow is a shot of the message that went out to those “Black Card” members, take a look and see if your device is supported and don’t let that money burn a hole in your pocket.

July 2011 Archives - 7/31 - Android Police - Android News, Apps, Games, Phones, Tablets

Did Asphalt 5 and Asphalt 6 not quite cut it for you when it comes to racing games on Android? Can I not tempt you with N.O.V.A. 2 either? Fear not! Gameloft is back with a new title, GT Racing: Academy Free+, which is available to download right now on the Android Market.Although the title is free, you will probably have coughed up some money by the time you've finished playing. In-app purchases include XP multipliers and credit packs to buy new cars, of which there are 111. It's probably safe to assume that the in-game models are somewhat cheaper than their real life counterparts, though, so there is a realistic chance that you'll be driving a Ferrari by the time you're done.

Mobile [Android] Casinos- The best the gaming industry has to offer

Friday 31st of May 2013 / androidheadlines.com
Just the other day, we featured a post on casino games for Android. The games, offered by the William Hill Casino Club, allow you to play slot-style games from anywhere. You can start out playing with virtual money, or you can even up the stakes and play for real money. That topic, of course, introduces a series of questions, namely where can you find more games like that? We’ll get to that in a bit.Is it safe to play Casino games on an Android device? While I can’t provide exact details on how safe the practice is, virtual casino operators claim it is indeed very safe and secure to play the related games. Personal information including sensitive data and banking details are encrypted which makes it more difficult for third parties to gain access to said information. In addition, operators claim that they use state of the art security software for all of their games and apps. Take that for what it is.How do you play Casino games on Android? There are a couple ways to go about it, one of which is to play the games right within a browser. Mobile casino operators recommend installing t

FIFA 14 lands on Android

Tuesday 24th of September 2013 / feedproxy.google.com
Title arrives today on Google Play and Amazon AppstoreFollowing Madden 25 last week, EA's leading soccer/football title FIFA 14 is now available on Android through Google Play and the Amazon Appstore. Like the console version, FIFA features a wealth of real-world clubs, tournaments and players, as well as commentary inEnglish, French, German, Italian and Spanish. EA'sFootball Club Match Day feature also lets you play along with real-world fixtures from this year's leagues, including real-time updates of injuries and suspensions.Like Madden, the new FIFA follows a "freemium" pricing model — there's no charge to download the app, but you'll pay real money for in-game stuff. As we've come to expect from big-name EA games, the graphics are slick and the controls work reasonably well too.But you're also looking at a pretty big download for FIFA 14— 1.35GB in fact, so you might want to check your internal storage before you download. Grab it from Google Play using the button above — which will get you a free gold premium pack —
