I can't install any applications at all in JB 4.2. What are some possible solutions? I'd attach a screen shot, but I'm guessing I've reached my daily limit. The solution to this problem: Originally Posted by sasqautch396 Just go to settings and remove Ur Google account, make sure u know Ur username and password. Google Play Store apps update bug after 4.2 upgrade - how to fix?

Friday 16th of November 2012 / forums.androidcentral.com
I'm having the problem which I *know* other users are suffering from since upgrading my Nexus 7 to Android JB 4.2 - apps won't download or update in the Google Play Store. Each time I try to update an app [there are about three waiting now, including Google+], or install a new one, I get an error message citing problems retrieving information from the server [RPC:S-5:AEC-0]. How to fix this? Clearing out the data and cache from Google Play Store doesn't seem to help. I don't want to hard reset my entire machine or sign it up to a dummy account, as I know some fixes have recommended. But if I do have to put in a new account, what do I have to do and how much information do I risk losing? I'd rather just do this for the Play Store than the whole Nexus, of course. Please can someone advise. I assume this is a problem at the server end to do with Google's new multiple accounts feature. They really should fix it. It's a ridiculous bug. Who wants to deprive your most enthusiastic users of their Google Play accounts?

Error retrieving information.....Unresolved

Wednesday 26th of December 2012 / forums.androidcentral.com
Error retrieving information from server. RPC:S-7:AEC-0 You see that guys? its a 7, not a 5. Im getting the error code with a 7 and everything I found is only for a 0 or 5. No one has been able to assist how to fix the 7s. So pretty much I cant purchase anything from play store. I cleared data/cache but no luck and im guessing its irrelevant for this issue. I have read to completely wipe the phone and do a factory reset. No thank you, I cannot afford to do so, too much work to restoreI tried deleting the google account from the phone but a warning message popped up saying it will erase everything from the phone, i said no thanks again. Can anyone please assist without having to do major damage..? Easiest, smoothest possible way? Please advise, thank you so much

Play Store error: rpc:s-7:AEC-0

Monday 04th of March 2013 / androidforums.com
Hi. I'm new to the forum, so I hope this is the right place to put this thread Anyways, I've been having an issue with the Play Store all day, trying to sort it out to no avail. I'm using an international Galaxy S III i9300.Earlier, I tried to download a paid app, and I couldn't. I got an error saying something about my Visa, which is registered to my account, was invalid. I went to my Google Wallet page on my laptop, and removed my card, then tried to add it again. I couldn't. When I try to add it from my PC, I just get an error saying my card could not be validated. When I try to add it through the Play Store app, I get error rpc:s-7:AEC-0 .Funny thing is, I tried adding my dads Visa on my account. Same error, both on phone and PC. However, when he tried to add his own card to his google account, it worked just fine. That leads me to believe that there is no problem with my card, but with my account somehow (my card has also been used on other online stores and at the local grocery store today, so I know it works.)I've tried a lot of fixes I found online, mostly what pops up is err

Error retrieving info from server: RPC S - 7: AEC - 0

Wednesday 02nd of April 2014 / forums.androidcentral.com
I have tried a few suggestions to fix the above error I get when trying to download from the Google Play Store. 1. I have removed my Google account, then logged in fresh to the Google Play Store adding an existing account and also trying it with a new account. 2. I have also cleared the cache in the Applications Manager. Neither of the above fix the error I get when I try to download from the Google Play Store. I get the same RPC S-7 AEC-0 error everytime. Very frustrating. Does anyone know a solution? With everything I have googled, this appears to be a common error. The solutions I have found on-line don't seem to work for me. Maybe I'm missing an obvious step. Please help.
