Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300 freezes every hour or so. - Page 2
Tuesday 29th of January 2013
Im having the same problems. My phone is 5 months old, and was fine before the 4.1.2 update. Since I updated about 2 weeks ago, it has gradually gone from just being slow and laggy, to freezing at least twice a day. I contacted Samsung, and they told me to do a full factory reset, which I did, but after 1 day the freezing started again. They've now told me I need to take it to a service centre, although I don't know what they'll be able to do if its a software bug, but I guess ive got no choice, as im not prepared to put up with it until they release an update to fix it!!
Stock ICS 4.0.4 and JB 4.1.1 laggy/slow
Tuesday 24th of July 2012
Hello,I recently purchased a used nexus s 2 weeks ago. It was running Gingerbread 2.3.6 and the phone felt super responsive, when I touched an app or a a button there was hardly a delay at all, apps and pages loaded instantly. A week ago, I got a system update for 4.0.4 . It looked nicer and all, but my battery life turned to shit and everything was slower and there were lots of delays when swiping screens and such. Yesterday I got another system update for Jelly Bean 4.1.1, and after watching reviews on the web about it improving the lag in ICS, I noticed the complete opposite. Everything is even slower now. Battery life completely sucks now, I went from full charge to 50% with 6 hours of standby and 30mins of light usage. Is anyone else experiencing the same issues, or have any advice? Should I just try a reset? Thanks

Just got the Transform... Hate it
Saturday 25th of December 2010
I had 2 LG Optimus', but returned them due to issues with the SD card and I didn't like not having a keyboard. I "traded up" to the Transform (for $150) and now realize that it may have been a mistake. I got the phone yesterday and I've already had a number of issues. Are there any fixes for these:1. The phone has already locked up several times since yesterday.2. It takes a long time to boot up from turn on.3. It takes several seconds to take a picutre after pushing the button. 4. It seems to hesitate before switching to any screen or starting an ap.5. Its very slow! My free LG Optimus didnt have any of these problems and I would go back to that if it had a keyboard. Well here is an update:I have now encountered several more problems since owning this phone.1. The keyboard and front keys do not stay lit. They flicker when pushed. 2. I can only answer about 50% of my calls because the "answer" slider will not slide... the phone freezes.3. It will not sync. I get a message saying "Sync is experiencing problems. It will be back shortly." But it never comes

Sony Xperia Tablet S to get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean bump by early May
Monday 25th of March 2013
You know how Mondays are usually pretty slow news days in this little technology world of ours? Well, not today. And we mostly have Sony to thank for that. The Xperia ZL phone has just gone up for pre-order in the US, the Xperia Tablet Z has been priced in 13 European countries and now we have something to report about the Xperia Tablet S as well. You remember the Tab S, right? The 9.4-incher that preceded the Z in the fall of 2012.As good as it looked on paper six months ago, the Xperia Tablet S proved to be a pretty massive flop. Not only were sales halted soon after the release due to water damage (technically, the slate was splash proof), but there were also numerous software glitches that crippled the user experience.Even now there are many users that complain about random reboots and unstable network connections, but fear not, as Sony will finally come to your rescue in a month or so. The Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update will be rolled out either in late April or early May and with it there should be plenty of bug fixes to go around.Given the tab is still running Android 4.0.3 Ic
