Tag photos in Facebook for Android app
Monday 02nd of January 2012
Is anybody able to tag photos in the Facebook for Android app? If so how do you do it? I can't figure it out at all. It seems like it should be as simple as opening your photo in the Facebook app and tapping on a persons face but that doesn't do anything.
Facebook for Android App
Friday 27th of August 2010
I found an app called 'Facebook for Android' and was going to install it but it said it would replace the Facebook app that came on my phone. Three questions...1. Is it just a newer version of the same app?2. If I install it and don't like it, can I get my old Facebook app back?3. Has anyone tried it and is it better or worse than the Facebook app that came with the phone?
Native Facebook for Android app nearly ready for release
Monday 08th of October 2012
We know that Facebook's current app strategy has been more or less a failure on Android. Following an update to the app on iOSfrom mostly HTML5 to native code, it looks like a native Facebook for Android app is in the final stages of testing according to an anonymous source inside the company. We'll hopefully be seeing an official statement and release from Facebook soon. The Google+ app has set the bar pretty high at this point, we'll see if Facebook can catch up.Source: Engadget

Is anyone having trouble locating the facebook for android app in the marketplace? I had uninstalled this app as it was completely messed up when I got my first android last week and went to go find it in the market place and it is no longer there...I tried using the barcode for the location in the marketplace to no avail and even tried clicking the link on the bottom of the webpage while using the browser that said "download facebook for your moment" which brings me to an error message that states "the requested item could not be found"I found a couple posts on the facebook for android page with the same problem but there were no responses.Any help would be wonderful!
