Brand new Motorola Razr M - shut itself off and will not turn back on.

Friday 08th of March 2013 / droidforums.net
I bought a new Razr M (model XT907) for my wife earlier today. We got home from the Verizon store and it was working fine. She noticed the battery was very low so we put it on the charger for about 90 minutes. The battery completed died (while still on the charger) and now wont turn back on. Its completely dead.Ive tried plugging it in on various outlets around the house, and using multiple chargers and even a car charger, and nothing happens. No power, no light, nothing.Im obviously going to take it back to Verizon tomorrow, but is this a known issue with this model? Anyone else have the same problem? Again, this is a brand new phone. If this is a recurring problem with no known fix I wont keep it, and will get her something else.I have a Droid 4 and have never experienced anything like this.If anyone can offer any help I would appreciate it. Thanks!

DROID RAZR M Does Not Have the Annoying Ongoing WiFi Notification, Yay! – Droid Life

Friday 07th of September 2012 / droid-life.com
I hate to admit this, but one of the first things I noticed on the DROID RAZR M that just showed up at my door, was the fact that it did not have that annoying ongoing WiFi notification reminder that we made a big stink over on the Galaxy S3 and Incredible 4G LTE. The device will continue to remind you that WiFi networks are near if you have WiFi turned on, but aren’t connected, however, if you turn WiFi off – no ongoing notification. Hallelujah! We aren’t sure who to give props to on this one, but I’m leaning towards Motorola. Since Samsung and HTC both caved in to what we are assuming were Verizon’s demands, we’ll give the thumbs up to the folks behind the RAZR line. Nice work, Moto.Unboxing and first look at the device from my perspective will be up shortly.

VZ Droid Razr internet

Sunday 05th of February 2012 / droidforums.net
My Verizon Droid Razr is having some Hotspot and tethering problems when connected to my Dell W7 laptop. To keep this as brief and clear as possible, tethering takes many minutes to connect to the internet. I'm in a 3g area which from time to time can go to National Access, but, the phone's browser never has a problem. The tethering slows down my Control Panel to a crawl, and has been known to lock up my computer to the point of having to power it down. The Hotspot is a little better, but occasionally when turning it off on the phone, it doesn't want to turn off. It will then present me with a "not responding" screen, and the I have to do a Force shutdown. After that, the phone may reboot itself, and then it does the oddest thing. It will start ringing. And keep on ringing, and never stop ringing. I then turn it off for a few minutes and it's ok.

Need Help!! Droid Razr Maxx HD will not reboot

Monday 02nd of September 2013 / droidforums.net
Hello, I have a Droid Razr Maxx HD, last night I was watching HBOGO on it and it just shut off. When I tried to turn it on I got nothing. I tried unplugging the charger and plugging it back it, it won't charge or it is just not showing that it is charging. I searched and found that others had this issue, I did everything I could find to fix this including, rebooting, clearing the cache, and even (oh! I dreaded doing this) factory reset. I can get into the phone to the reboot menu, but when I factory reset it, when it is done I hit reboot now and it just shut off. It still will not turn on. I use the power and volume down button and can get it to the M logo screen, but that is all it does. It will not go past the M logo screen. I am at a loss, and lost without my phone. Please help me, I can't understand what the problem is and I want to learn from this. I have only had the phone for a month and have not even used a quarter of the memory. I want to say in advance, THANK YOU to anyone who can help me fix this issue. Thanks,Jenny

iMessage issues after switching from 4S to Droid Razr M

Tuesday 24th of September 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
A key thing to remember here is that my iPhone 4s had a fight with the concrete, and the concrete won. The LCD went out so I can't simply go on my phone and shut off iMessage. In other similar threads, that seems to be the answer. It won't work, as I can't do anything but turn my phone on and see a dark grey pathetic effort at displaying... I have a Droid Razr M as a spare, and I turned it back on. I like the phone, but I'm a slave to my iTunes and don't want to have to carry two devices, so I prefer the iPhone. Too many issues with playing iTunes via the Droid phones, so I gave up.It will be awhile before I can afford to save the $175 it takes to replace the screen and LCD.... So I need help. I'm not getting my girlfriends messages, as they are still coming over as iMessages. She has deleted contacts, tried things on iCloud, I registered here, but with the iOS7 you can't just switch the type of phone a contact has manually (ridiculously stupid change for this reason). Help?

Droid Razr MAXX won't boot

Wednesday 30th of October 2013 / androidforums.com
I rooted my Droid Razr MAXX and discovered that I could install Android version 4.3 using Safestrap.I installed the 4.3 Google applications then tried to install Cyanogenmod 10.3, but it wouldn't let me.I performed all wipes prior to installation, but I forgot to create a backup. Long story short when I boot my phone Safestrap comes up and runs correctly, but the farthest my phone will go is the boot animation and won't actually turn on. So I'm not sure what I did to it, but I'd like to know if there's a way to fix it and how.

Droid Razr M WILL NOT CHARGE

Tuesday 18th of March 2014 / forums.androidcentral.com
Okay so i recently charged my phone (overnight) and woke up around 1pm after it being on the charger for atleast a minimum of 12 hours, i took it off and got a shower ect. when i went out for dinner i used my gps and 4G and it almost completely drained it. I have snapdragon on it and it does a excellent job of maintaining battery life, i then got home and proceeded to charge it only to have it shut off and turn back on constantly for 3 hours. I do wash it atleast once a week and hand dry it completely, although it has never been affected at all. I need some help on this, i've stressed all my options and i've got work in the morning and i really need my phone for work.. All Responses Welcome, Thank you
