How to download maps data on Google Maps

Wednesday 06th of July 2011 / androidheadlines.com
One of the more interesting (if less publicized)additions toGoogle Maps 5.7 is the ability to download map data locally to your phone. That’s a godsend if you’re traveling somewhere that has a spotty connection, or if you’re overseas and trying to avoid roaming charges. I lost my phone and changed my Google password. Is there any way to wipe the data on my phone now?

Friday 15th of March 2013 / android.stackexchange.com
I lost my LG P500 a few hours ago and the first thing that came to my mind was to change my Google account password. Now I cannot install AndroidLost or another such application remotely and I really need to wipe the phone clear because there is sensitive data on it. I know I should have thought about this before changing my password. Since Google doesn't allow you to keep an old password again, I am in a huge fix. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Need help with how to use Safestrap recovery app

Friday 02nd of November 2012 / droidforums.net
The droip is running 2.11 and 4. I used Droid Razr utility 1.82 and it worked great!. Loaded voodoo and safestrap per the cool utility with bat file. Man you make it easy. Checkeck that I was rooted (went to terminal and got the SU prompt). Installed Safestrap rebooted into safestrap and crated a safe image (copy) my Razr (I think you call it a nandroid copy). Now comes the problem. When I enable safe mode and try to boot into the safe mode partition just copied, it boot loops. When I change safestrap to boot into the original Droid it works fine. So it looks to me like I'm not using safestrap correctly but I can't find a manual of it anywher. Are there instructions for this safestrap. Can't wait to strat messing with the android but until I have a good back up . Can someone please give me a hand on how to use this app to make a back up an get the safe zone working? Thanks for the help!!! Ansel

So I've recently become the owner of the Samsung Galaxy S2 from AT&T.I have some music that I added from my PC, and pictures that I've downloaded from my phone, onto my SDcard, and I can't seem to access the card's content from my phone. I'd like to be able to set my downloaded/saved pcitures as wallpapers and send them out to people as well. But the issue is that I can't seem to access the card's content from my phone. Is anyone else having this issue, and is it even possible to do so?Please help! D:Thank you so much.

Wednesday 13th of November 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
It's an LG Optimus (dynamic) the model # is LGLC3BC. The touchscreen stopped working, I am sending it back to straighttalk, they are sending me a new one. How can I reset to factory defaults and wipe out all of my info that is on the phone? (touchscreen is not working, so it has to be done with the buttons somehow or by reinstalling original os from sd card.)Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks much in advance.Axe

How to factory reset your Samsung Galaxy S5 to wipe all data

/ feedproxy.google.com
If you're looking to hand off a Samsung Galaxy S5 to someone else and there's already stuff on there, it's wise to do a factory reset to wipe all of the existing data from the device. This is a pretty straightforward process, but a vital one if you want to keep your personal data secure. Make sure to keep your Samsung Galaxy S5 plugged in and charging during this process, since having your phone die in the middle of it can lead to permanent damage. How to wipe all data from the Samsung Galaxy S5Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the gear icon in the top-right. Swipe down to the User and Backup section, or tap the magnifying glass to type in a search in the top-right and tap Backup and reset. The last option on this screen is Factory data reset. Tap this, and you'll be given one more warning screen before making the plunge. Review all of the data that will be deleted, then scroll down to the bottom and tap Reset device.Be sure to pop out the microSD memory card from the device if you're getting rid of it, since the information on there isn't touched by a security wipe, and
