Class 10 Micro SDHC Cards Compatible?

Wednesday 13th of July 2011 / androidforums.com
Has anyone used a class 10 micro SDHC memory card in their charge yet? I've got one of the class 2 samsung cards in there and it's not that fast, hoping to upgrade to a class 4 or maybe a 10 since a few of the brands like Adata and Transcend are basically the same price as the sandisk class 4.

Does the Viewsonic g Tablet recognize full-sized SDHC through USB host?

Wednesday 04th of May 2011 / androidtablets.net
I'm trying to use the gtab to view photos taken with my camera, which uses full-sized SD cards. For standard SD cards 2 GB or smaller, I can plug my camera right in via the full-sized USB host and look through the pictures in any file manager app (Astro, ES, etc.). However, if I use a 8 GB SDHC card in the camera, none of the file managers will find the files and the /usbdisk directory shows as empty. Same result if I put the SDHC card into a card reader and plug it in. I've tried two different 8 GB cards, a Transcend and a SanDisk Extreme.Anyone else experience this problem? Any work arounds? I suppose I could buy a bunch of micro SDHC cards and an adapter to use them in my camera, then use the micro SDHC slot on the gtab. But I don't know if micro SDHC cards are fast enough to record HD video or do burst/RAW photos (without being ridiculously expensive). The major selling point for me was being able to take pictures while on vacation and then view them later that day with my family without having to lug around a full-blown laptop. :<

Using micro SDHC cards in a tablet's micro SD media slot

Wednesday 17th of April 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Most of the specs for tablets which have a micro SD media slot do not give any details about it. I'm generally wondering if a slot labelled "microSD" will accept a micro SDHC card (as opposed to a micro SD card). I know, for example, that some older memory card readers won't read the SDHC cards, even if they have an SD slot. I'm not sure about the tablets however. Example of some of the tablets that I'd be interested in knowing this about are: Acer Iconia A700 or A210, and Toshiba Excite. Thanks, David

Micro SDHC cards

Thursday 18th of October 2012 / androidforums.com
Do micro SDHC card work, because i have about 1gb of apps on my phone, and i just put in my 32gb HDSC card. It shows up on the phone and says you have 29gb remaining etc. However when i go into the app info menu, where you can force stop, unistall, clear cache etc, there is not move to sd card button on any of them. I downloaded app 2 sd and said 18 apps where moveable but there is no button to move it... Confusing.... After looking around more some people have said that you can only transfer your multi media files and not your apps which didn't used to be true on my Galaxy ace which only had 180 mb of internal storage.

32 GB Micro SDHC card reporting only 7.41 GB!

Saturday 07th of May 2011 / androidforums.com
After setting up my new HTC Desire HD today with a 32 Gbyte Micro SDHC card (AKA SD Card), the phone reports only 7.41 GB!I then put the card in a USB card holder, and slow-formatted it on my PC, using the excellent Panasonic SD Card formatter available at SD Formatter 3.0 for SD/SDHC/SDXC - SD Association and it happily formatted and initialized a 32 MB FAT32 partition. So there's no way the card is one of those low-quality rip-offs that have plagued some people.Any ideas? I've heard Android 2.2, which the phone is on, has problems accessing SD cards larger than 8 GB which, coincidently, is about 7.41!Also, lots of people, on various phones, have had file corruption problems with large capacity SD cards. (See long thread of woe, which stretches from 2008 until last week, at Issue 2500 - android - SD card corruption - Android - An Open Handset Alliance Project - Google Project Hosting ) So I hesitate to use it if Android can't even correctly decide how much free space there is!

not reading micro SDHC cards correctly?

Saturday 01st of May 2010 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hey all- I've been having trouble with my DI telling me my SDHC cards are "broken". I've tried an 8 GB class 6 and the 2 GB micro SD that came with it. I've formatted the cards, still no luck. The weird thing is, once the phone is on and I put in the card, it seems to think it's OK. But randomly when I turn on the phone, it says the card is broken. Anyone else having trouble with this?

Micro SDHC Card memory problems

Tuesday 29th of October 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hello,I recently purchased 2 Galaxy Tab 3 7.0's for my kids to watch movies on. I also purchased 2 x 32gb SDHC cards via ebay to store their movies. So i get them in and i can copy all the movies i want onto the memory card and the devices will recognize them and the memory cards, but only the first 4 or 5 movies i copy will play. Anything after that will just give me a message saying "sorry this video cannot be played", and i can tell the movies that will play by the thumnails on the device movie player.....the ones that play have thumbnails of the first frame of the movie and the ones that don't will all have a thumbnail of just the play button. My first thought was something i remembered in another electronic issue years back about NTFS or FAT32 only recognizing 4gb or something like that. So i have since formatted both cards with FAT32, exFAT and NTFS. The Tabs do not recognize NTFS formatted cards though it appears. So basically no matter what i do i seem to be stuck with what seems to be a 4gb cap on these SDHC cards. But its weird because i can copy all the files i
