Increase you Phone’s Performance with Memory Booster for Android

Wednesday 07th of July 2010 / androidheadlines.com
Memory Booster, by DownloadAndroid, has received a recent update providing some useful features. Memory booster is an app which can keep your Android device running smooth and provides the potential to increase your battery life by up to 50%.The new features of version 1.5 include an auto boost function, whitelist manager and boost level manager. The whitelist manager works as an ignore list for killing tasks while auto boost will work in the background to keep your system running efficiently. This sounds a lot like advanced task killer with auto kill. Furthermore, the whitelist manager is only usable after a purchase of $2.99 USD; the app is free without it. Advanced Task Killer is an app which provides these same functions, while also remaining free.Memory Booster is, however, slightly more advanced than ATK. A few key highlights are:Set your performance target – in other words, set a threshold of a minimum desired free RAMOne-Click Memory boosting – similar to kill all, but Quick boost will remember the settings which work best on your deviceCrash Protection – MB

Is Memory Booster App Safe?

Monday 08th of November 2010 / forums.androidcentral.com
I know we've heard ATK is bad on the Epic, but isn't Memory Booster doing the same thing as ATK when you click on "Boost"? I like Memory Booster but don't really won't to use it if it could damage software or the phone itself as people have said the ATK could.

Memory Booster is a powerful mobile Memory & RAM boosting tool specially designed for Android smartphone users. It is a handy memory optimizer tool that will keep your Android smartphone running faster and efficiently. It increases your cell phone’s performance by making more memory available for both your applications and the mobile system. App Review: Memory Booster vs. Advanced Task Killer

Wednesday 02nd of March 2011 / droidforums.net
This review originally write by our writer JaneThis review compares Memory Booster and Advanced Task Killer (ATK) based on author’s objective analysis and long-time user experience. Memory Booster is regarded as a comprehensive memory boosting tool offering task management, memory monitor & status report, as well as system information of the device; while ATK provides easy-to-use shortcut to manage tasks and functions to customize user interface. As we all know how Linux OS manages the Android memory in a very special way – to allow as many apps and services to stay simultaneously in the background as possible. These apps and services will launch very fast and efficiently when needed. For many, Linux OS has been doing pretty well in memory and task management. Task killers and memory boosting tools might have been regarded as useless. However, quite a few people are having troubles with such a system management routine. I am unfortunately one of them.I have a Droid X to operate. Each time my memory gets lower to a certain level (55MB also), my phone would slow to a cr
