Agenda Calendar App

Sunday 21st of October 2012 / android.net
Hi I am a teacher and looking for something to replace my daily planner. I have an HTC Desire phone which syncs with my outlook calendar on my PC. I use the Android Agenda Widget to keep track of my daily meetings and lessons. I have spent the last few hours trying to find an app that will take the schedule for the year that I already have on my phone and link it, or replace it?, with the opportunity to add notes to each meeting or lesson. I want to be able to keep track of my lesson plans, the H/W i have set, the tasks i have to do etc. I have had a look at Jorte but that seems to be an agenda app and the notes section just creates a list of unlinked tasks. I have looked at several of the teachers planning apps but they require the entry of all the scheduled lessons again and don

Any.DO Updated With DashClock Support, A New Daily Planning Feature Called 'Moment', And More

Wednesday 20th of February 2013 / androidpolice.com
Any.DO – one of the best looking task managers on Android – just got an update that makes the app even more useful. For starters, it now has DashClock support; if you're not already using DashClock Widget, then you're missing out on the single best widget of all time. Really, it's pretty amazing. But that's a different story.Aside from that, is a new feature called Any.DO Moment, which is essentially an elegant daily reminder to plan your day. Because everyone knows: plan your work, and work your plan. That's one of those quasi-motivational things that they tell you at work, right? Anyway, Moment is a neat feature, especially if you forget to put tasks into your task planner that is meant to help you not forget to do things. Past that, reminders now have a new look, there are two new languages (Polish and Portuguese), and the update also includes several bug fixes. All in all, this one's a winner. Head below to grab it.Any.DO Tags:any.doapp updatetask listtodo listupdate

Need a substitute for Thinkbook and Awesome Calendar

Wednesday 03rd of October 2012 / androidtablets.net
I just traded my iPad 2 in for the ASUS TF700 and I love it! There were a couple of apps that I used on my iPad everyday that I am looking for a substitute. Thinkbook was a notebook app that let you create a planner for tasks. the best part about that app was it had a tracker for completion %. Awesome Calendar was just a calendar app but if it also gave a % of completion on each day for the tasks i had set for that day. I used these to set a business rhythm and keep track of daily, weekly, monthly tasks. I have tried Astrid, Jorte, and a few others but I still cannot find something that gives a static % of completion as i check tasks off. Any help would be much appreciated!Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using Tapatalk 2

Looking for app: all in one - calendar, to do list, planner, organizer...

Sunday 09th of May 2010 / androidforums.com
Hello,I'm desperately looking for an app that will integrate a calendar with lists, to do lists and I am willing to pay for it. Here's what I'd like: a calendar with daily, weekly, monthly viewTo do lists (which can be synched with the calendar and crossed off the list if completed on a scheduled day)Reminders, alarms, deadlinesAbility to work offline (in case I'm in an area w/o service)Ability to setup recurring apptsLists (e.g. grocery, books to read, people who owe me $, etc.) - where I can see ALL the lists in a nice lay out and be able to prioritize within listsAll of the above should have a widget so I can see my calendar/lists from my homescreenAbility to add comments to any of the aboveDoes anyone know an app that does all these things? I've tried: TooDo, Astrid, Jorte, etc. Jorte seems to come the closest so far...Thanks in advance! Jax

Looking for a calendar/todo manager

Monday 02nd of September 2013 / androidforums.com
Hi All, I'm looking for a calendar + task managing app, specifically one that has the following features: Creating multiple to-do checklists, which can then be displayed on the home screen as simple 1x1 widgets.Creating repeatable events, including biweekly repetition.Integration with Google Calendar, displaying different views (weekly/daily agenda, whole month, upcoming events etc.)I've tried several apps, but none of them has all of the features I need: ColorNote is what I'm currently using for to-do lists, and it really is brilliant in that aspect; the 1x1 widgets for each list are just what I need. However, it has only a rudimentary calendar display.S Planner, on the other hand, is a magnificent calendar app, but the task lists are a bit wonky, and there are no widgets at all (I'm using Nova, so even the big widget is unavailable).Jorte was very interesting (and frighteningly customizable), but it permits only three (!!) different categories for tasks and has no biweekly events.Of course, I could compromise and use S Planner in conjunction with ColorNote, but... surely there is s
