Get a Refurbed Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 on Woot! for just $329.99

Wednesday 10th of April 2013 / androidtablets.net
Here's a spectacular deal on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. You can nab yourself one over at Woot! for just $329.99 for today only. It's a refurbished model, but that shouldn't matter too much because it has be recertified. Considering it's the same price as the inferior Apple iPad mini and still considerably cheaper than the regular sized iPad, it's probably worth considering if you are in the market for a 10.1-inch tablet. Here's a recap of specs:Here's a link to Woot! in case you want to check it out: Samsung Galaxy Note 16GB 10.1" Tablet

Samsung Galaxy Proclaim IMEI Number on Straight Talk

Tuesday 11th of June 2013 / androidforums.com
I've read that IMEI numbers should be 15 or 17 digits long. The Samsung Galaxy Proclaim I have is a Straight Talk phone and the IMEI number is 18 digits long. I know it uses the Verizon/CDMA network. Can anyone tell me why that is? Also, is there a way to get a 15 or 17 digit IMEI from the Straight Talk IMEI?

Hello Everyone. A friend of mine wants me to flash her Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 to Boost Mobile. I'd like to know if it would function identically to the ones that Boost Mobile currently sells. I mean it is the same network and the same phone, just optimised for Boost Mobile. Thanks,RSF

Is it possible to get a Sprint Samsung Galaxy S4 to work on Straight Talk?

Monday 05th of August 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hi there! First off, I'm new to these forms and still quite new to Android seeing as how I got my first Android smartphone at the end of June. So, I don't get a lot of the technical jargon, but as a nineteen year old I like to think I'm a young dog who can learn these new tricks. Poor attempts at humour aside, I have service with Straight Talk [the unlimited $45 card stuff with a Huawei Ascend Plus H881c] and I want to stay with them. However, I want a Samsung Galaxy S4 and I have a friend who is willing to sell me theirs. It is a Sprint Galaxy S4 and I am wondering if it's possible to get it to work with Straight Talk? If so, could anyone help me on how - with it being easy and not to expensive for whatever you gotta do it make it work [if you have to buy like a sim card, that SMS/MMS will work, or whatever else], or if it's difficult and expensive.I appreciate any help I can get!

How to upload pictures from Samsung Galaxy S4 to PC -Windows 8?

Thursday 12th of September 2013 / androidforums.com
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4, and have never had problems before loading pictures with my previous phones. However, we recently got Windows 8 installed on the computer and it recognises my device when I plug it in but doesn't find any pictures or files on it. They are on the phone but for some reason the PC isn't picking them up. Any suggestions? I can't see or transfer them on the computer, but they are viewable on my phone so are definitely there. Is there something specific you have to do uploading pictures to Windows 8 or is it something to do with the model of my phone?

Hey...just purchased unlocked AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4. Want to use it on existing ST account. Want to keep my existing cell# and monthly plan. Is it as simple as inserting current SIM card and powering up phone? Do I need to activate phone on ST web site? If yes, do I activate using BYOP or 'Transfer Your Existing Straight Talk Service' option. Thanks in advance...Mark

Has anyone gotten PdaNet/Foxfi wireless tethering to working on a Sprint Samsung Galaxy S4?

Thursday 12th of December 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
I had a Motorola Photon on SPRINT rooted and with PDANET and it worked just fine creating a wireless hotspot. note - I do not pay for the extra Sprint hotspot service nor do I have that installed. So, I just upgraded to a brand new Galaxy S4 (which came with the 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) . I then rooted it, installed PDANET and FoxFi and now only the USB tethering will work. When I click on activate wifi hotspot it activates but in a couple of seconds it errors out with the following: "Hotspot Error - Unable to connect to data network, turning off Hotspot. Your plan may not have the Hotspot service, please contact your phone company." So, I uninstalled the older PDANET on the S4 and reinstalled the latest PDANET plus (which includes FoxFi) and still the same error happens. Further, I see on PDANET help that is says not to update to Jelly bean and only 4.0 is supported and not 4.1 or 4.2 link I contacted pdanet help and they told me to make sure that the built in phone's usb tethering is turned off. It was already turned off. So, has anyone been able to get the Galaxy S4 on Sprint
