Installing ADB drivers for Micromax A89 Ninja - Windows 8

Thursday 04th of April 2013 / android.stackexchange.com
Micromax does not provide any drivers for its phone - Micromax ninja a89. We are trying to use the phone for development and are unable to install device driver in windows 8. We tried the adb drivers at - http://www.droidextra.org/2013/02/06/install-adb-drivers-for-any-android-device.htmland got the error - Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error when trying to install it. Android ADB Interface- The system cannot find the file specified. We even tried this link - https://laslow.net/2012/03/14/disable-driver-signature-enforcement-in-windows-8/But that does not solve the problem. How do we install adb driver for micromax a89? Is there any other workaround to use the phone as a development device?Regards!

rooting - Allowing my rooted Sanyo Zio to work with my Vista 64 computer

Saturday 27th of October 2012 / android.stackexchange.com
I recently got my Sanyo Zio phone and I would like to upload my android programs that i coded earlier onto it. I installed the driver that I found on the website and then plugged in my phone and when prompted I located the usb driver folder. Yet the installation failed. I tried the same thing with a new driver i found for vista x64. The same problem reoccurred. (i found multiple drivers for both vista x64 and x84 and tried installing all of them) None of them have worked. I can access my phones SD drive no problem but i would like to upload my software from eclipse.Because of the response I got from costumer service (locted below) I decided that I will root my phone if it allows me to upload my programs from my computer. Does anybody know of a rom that will work with vista 64 on sanyo zio.?Anyone has any ideas??Update: I have send a msg to the costumer service for my phone the response is quite upsetting Dear XXXXXX, Thank you for contacting Kyocera Communications Inc. This email message is in response to your email about the difficulty of installing the Sanyo Zio device driver in a

Problem installing device drivers

Monday 22nd of November 2010 / forums.androidcentral.com
I'm trying to ROOT my Epic for the 1st time. The 64-bit Samsung drivers installed on my PC fine, but now when I plug the Epic via USB, it hangs on 2 lines:CDC Abstract Control Model (ACM) ----- Installing driver software...S3C6410 Android ADB------------------ Installing driver software... They just hang here, with not installation completion.Any idea why I can't get around this? I've tried restarting, reinstalling Samsung drivers at this point.

Hello, I have tried to solve this problem for over a day now, so it is time for me to reach out for help...I have a HTC 4G (sprint) EVO. I am trying to utilize the tethering component. I downloaded the wireless_tether_2_0_5-2.apk and it is successfully downloaded and installed. When I goto the app, and attempt to establish a wireless tether, i get a message of not root. "sorry but your kernel does not have all the necessary features for running this application" So, then I goto unrevoked .com/ rootwiki/ doku.php/public/windows_hboot_driver_install]public:windows_hboot_driver_instal l [RootWiki][/url] (take out spaces) to install my hboot driver. I get to the point of downloading the andriod usb driver through the device manager and it tells me that "windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device. - Android Bootloader Interface - There is no driver selected for this device information set or element" So I have repeated the process several times, but no dice.
