Hi Richardo!!First of all I want to thank you for the instructions. Have already downloaded Titanium Back up 3.6.2. apk and saved it. Shall I cut/paste it on my SD card, and open it on my APad screen. In order to proceed with my Programs back up?? My files are all on my SD card do I need to save them on a Dropbox??Please explain to mewhat you mean by dropbox?? Have already downloaded deb-r 2.1.1568 zip file and unzipped it with unrar. Should I go ahead and write only the zipped "update" contents without unzipping them on the SD card after having formated to fat32. Which I suppose will have to be clean. By the way is this firmware thesame as deb-r 2.1.1561. And before doing all these should I clear the already existing 2.1.1561 firmware update which I downloaded and is stored on my Staus bar. Then I will follow the recovery instructions as mentioned on the "read" file and if I fail I will have to clear the cache etc. and eventually looseall my existing programs and files in which case I will need to know my Register Code which unfortunately I was not able to trace i

They have to update the firmware in that case to Android 2.2 i believe. Does anybody know if there is a blog/website from wowpad/infotmic? In that case we can ask if they have plans to update the firmware to Android 2.2.

Backup your programs using Titanium Backup and your files to a Dropbox before following this. The update servers are getting overloaded so I recommend doing a manual install (more likely to wipe files and programs but I can verify this works)Download this file, write it to a fat32 micro sd (ensure the update.zip file is the only one on the card!) then get into the recovery menu (menu and vol + I think), choose update from zip... Leave it for a bit and it should work If it doesn't work clear the cache etc... (from the recovery menu) You can find your registration code at Settings-about device-certificate. It's a very long number (I personally just took a screenshot and put it in my dropbox)Hope this helps,Richardo

I don't actually need to update the firmware as my Flytouch 2 has been performing reliably, I have only had one hang in the two weeks I have owned it, that is until I started trying to update the thing. It just nigglers me that I can't do it.To use the update via the recovery console rename the file to update.zip and copy it to the root of your micro sd card. With the card in the machine, reboot while holding down the big black home button. You'll be prompted with a 5 second countdown. During that 5 second countdown hold down the top home and menu buttons as well as the big black home button. After a few secs release, tablet will boot to pic of a planet with lightning or some bs around it, then to the recovery console where you can select to install updateIf you get the sequence

Well, sorry about my questions, but I'm not an Android specialist nor a technician, just someone (who loves Android) and are trying to solve my tablet related questions on my own...Just to say that I updated to 1561, but the Market (the one which comes with this update version) is not working well... In fact, I can search for an app, but it doesn't start downloading it! What did you do to have the Market working properly in 1561? Thanks!

I have downloaded the update at least five times in the hope that there has been an error in the download, but just get stuck at the Infotmic screen everytime. My only hope is that someone who owns a Flytouch 2 the same as mine comes up with a solution, and what are the hopes of that!?!
