HELP!!! I accidentally charged my DROID RAZR MAXX with a different charger!!

Saturday 03rd of March 2012 / androidforums.com
Ahhh, why do all smartphone chargers look exactly the same? Why can't they be different? I always have chargers stacked together and just yesterday and even this morning I chose the wrong charger... but it fit in my razr Maxx. Now what I want to know is.. is this bad for my Maxx battery because as you all may know, the Maxx carries a huge battery. Does this battery need a SPECIFIC charger? or can you just use any smartphone charger..Also, my dad has a Droid Razr the original one, and he's been using my Maxx charger.. is that okay? PLEASE HELP! I love my Maxx and I don't want it to die!! I'm so mad at these chargers.. Make different ones!! Not ones that look exactly alike!!

I recently purchased a Motorola Droid Razr Maxx from Verizon.

Wednesday 30th of May 2012 / justanswer.com
I recently purchased a Motorola Droid Razr Maxx from Verizon. The sales associate told me that it was compatible with Outlook 2003 and that all I need to do is plug it in through a USB port. Needless to say, it was not that simple. After numerous phone calls to Verizon I did get the Outlook to sync to my phone by creating a Gmail account, downloading Google Calendar Sync and then creating a separate Google calendar to sync to. It sync'd the first time but will not sync now. I cannot open the Google Calendar Sync to force the sync. I am wondering if there are other compatibility issues or if there is an Outlook App compatible with Android OS that would make this easier? What do I do to make this work? I am running Windows XP and Microsoft internet Explorer.Already Tried: I have uninstalled Google Calendar Sync. I have followed the instructions to set up the sync. I have called Verizon help. I am ready to take the phone back.

I just got a new Droid Razr Maxx phone. Its been activated

Tuesday 26th of June 2012 / justanswer.com
I just got a new Droid Razr Maxx phone. It's been activated and such. I had an HTC Incredible, and the salesman at Verizon told me that I could transfer the sms messages I wanted to save from the Incredible (after it had been deactivated) to my computer/new phone. How do I do this?Already Tried: I downloaded a free trial version of SMS Backup by Veryandroid.com and it couldn't find the text messages as csv files. Then, I tried just copy and pasting, but nothing on my laptop can open the files I believe the text messages to be.

I have a new Droid Razr. I have been able to setup my bellsouth.net POP e-mail and the g-mail account I had to create when I bought the Razr from Verizon. However, I have a g-mail account that uses my own domain name, kempgroupinc.com. I am able to connect to the outgoing server using smtp.gmail.com and port 587 with my username =XXX@XXXXXX.XXX and the appropriate password. I am not able to connect to the incoming server. Can you tell me how to set this up?Already Tried: I have tried to use incoming server imap.gmail.com with port 993 and the same username & password XX the outgoing server.

Car player won't play music on new Droid Razr Maxx 32gb

Monday 02nd of July 2012 / droidforums.net
Car stereo has usb port and works fine with iphone, droid 2 and even a thumbdrive but when I plug my new droid razr maxx in it says "No Audio". Looking through threads it appears that the only way folks can play music in their car is to use the aux input of their stereo. Can this be right? If it is, i'll have to return the phone as it's a deal-breaker for me.

Droid Razr(orginal) with root transfered to new Droid Razr Maxx HD. NEED HELP

Thursday 31st of January 2013 / droidforums.net
Hi there I'm in a bit of confusion. I have a original Droid Razr that has the Android version 4.0.4. The phone is rooted with droidrazrroot and has the superuser app and Bionic Bootstrapp app as well. So I just bought a clean Droid Razr Maxx HD and I popped sim card in and everything worked fine. After looking into the apps that were on the phone I noticed both superuser app and Bionic Bootstrapp app were on the phone. So i immediately tired to see if the hotspot would work. And it did. No message came up saying some charges might apply..?? So is my phone rooted? Did it the root transfer to my new Droid Razr Maxx HD?Here is another question I have for the pros.. I also checked to see what Android version was running on my Droid Razr Maxx HD and it was 4.0.4. So now im really confused. Shouldn't it be the new Jelly Bean? Also my Droid Razr Maxx HD is asking to update. Should I do that or will it brick? I guess bottom line is that Id like my new phone to be rooted like my other one. Any help on what I should do would be greatly appreciated.thank you
