My young son has been locked out of his AT&T HTC phone for

Saturday 29th of October 2011 / justanswer.com
My young son has been locked out of his AT&T HTC phone for too many pattern attempts. Not only that, he does not remember the username or pasword for the account. So, we cannot open the phone to use or obtain pics, etc. on it. I have searched and believe maybe the username XXXXX@XXXXXX.XXX. I tried that and it went through, but to recvoer the password XXXXX he doesn't know we need to answer security question of who is your favorite teacher which he doesn't know what he put for that either. We have tried all teachers, even the ones he hated). The other option is to recovery email which he doesn't know either. The hint XXXXX@XXXXXX.XXX does not work with anything we can think of. So what can we do? PLEASE HELP!!!!Optional Information: Computer OS: Windows 7Browser: Other

HTC Hero locked out too many pattern attempts?

Tuesday 13th of April 2010 / androidforums.com
Hi, I have had a Hero for about a month now and yesterday somebody tried to unlock the pattern incorrectly and has now locked the phone out. I only made a gmail solely for the purpose of this phone and have forogtten the username/password. Is there anyway I can fix this without having to lose everything on the phone? The main thing I need to keep are the contacts, everything else is fine, but would like to keep apps as I spent AGES downloading them. Thanks

Locked Out of Phone, forgot original Gmail password

Monday 03rd of June 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
I recently got permanently locked out of my HTC One after too many incorrect pattern attempts. I'm currently at a screen that is requesting that I log in with my Gmail username and password. I haven't logged into Gmail since I originally made the account, which was when I first bought the phone (1 yr ago). Since I knew for a fact that I wasn't going to remember what the password was, I went onto my computer and changed the password. The new password is not being accepted which leads me to believe that it will only accept the password that was active when the phone was locked in the first place. I've called AT&T, HTC and Google... all of which told me my only option was a factory reset. Because I have pictures and videos of my recent Prom and other precious documents on the phone, it makes it hard for me to accept a factory reset as my only option. Any help on this subject would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

HTC One S Guru???

Saturday 19th of October 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hi everyone, My sister has locked herself out of her phone, forgetting her pattern. She is now on the 'too many pattern attempts' screen. It is not accepting her google mail account, even though it is 100% right. We really need to get her photo's off the phone. Some of them are really really important, including her 8 year old daughters hospital picture diary from when she has major heart surgery. The phone was not back up to either her computer or to google mail. She took her phone to the shop and all they could suggest was changing the google mail password and trying again. I find it really hard to beleive that there is no way of accessing these? Some genius somewhere must have worked out a way. Is there anyone that can help? The value of these photos to my sister is priceless and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jackie
