Where do songs I purchase from amazon mp3 go? - Page 2

Monday 15th of November 2010 / droidforums.net
I'm noticing that the Amazon MP3 app is loading my music onto the phone's memory, and not my SD card. Does anyone know how I can get the app to save my music to the SD card, and how to transfer my existing music there? Do I need to set a folder up? Thanks!

How to save songs from my phone?

Thursday 06th of December 2012 / androidforums.com
Hi, I'm really new at this and I was hoping someone here could help me out. I wanted to save the songs I have downloaded to my phone on my tablet so I could listen to them while using it, and I connected it via the usb port and I opened the folder and found the songs, but I have no idea how to save them or where to find them. I tried selecting the songs and transferring them to internal storage, but they seem to have just disappeared en route, because none of them are there. Any tips as to how to do this? Sorry, I know this is a total noob question, but finals week has made me totally derpy and this is just defeating me right now.

Monday 23rd of August 2010 / androidforums.com
I notice in my new htc desire on one of the 7 panels there is a something you can click that says. Tap to go to music application, but there is no music there. I gather you can either1. Download Mp3s from the net and it will save them somewhere? but if i do it that way how do i load them in this program?2. Hook up my phone to my pc and drag mp3s over onto my sd card, but do i have to place them in a certain folder for the app to find them?Last is there a popular app people use to play their mp3s vs the one they give you?thanks for helping a newbie out here

Atrix SD card: Reads OK- but no apps writing to it??

Thursday 24th of February 2011 / forums.androidcentral.com
Sorry if this is just stupid me... I'm new to Android, coming from a Blackberry Bold 9700. I have an 8Gb sd installed and can add folders, files, etc via USB while installed in the Atrix. When I unplug and go check "file manager" on the Atrix I can see and browse "SD card". When I go to "Music" on the Atrix I can see and play all the songs I manually added to the SD card.... BUT-- my phone wont write ANYTHING to the SD card! Everything I download, every pic I take, every app's created files ALL go to "Internal Memory"! Am I missing a setting or doing something wrong? How do I make something as simple as photos save to the SD? Go ahead, show me how ignorant I am.

Rename files: music, pictures, etc/Save files to internal memory

Sunday 22nd of August 2010 / androidforums.com
I have several files on my SD card that I loaded myself, as well as images I have downloaded from the browser. How can I rename these files on the phone without a new app or plugging into the computer? Files Automatically save without the option to choose a name and I've searched around but have found nothing. Thanks for any info. Also I would like to save certain files, such as photos for caller ID and wallpaper, and songs used for ringtones and notifications, to my Samsung Moment's internal memory for when I switch SD cards. The pictures stays set as wallpaper or caller ID when card is removed but there is no access to it. I would like to be able to resolve this with the SD card still inserted and not connected to my computer - if possible. Any help would be great, thanks.

Help, need to copy playlist from MixZing

Thursday 14th of November 2013 / androidforums.com
I have created a playlist from pretty much all the albums I have on my phone. It took me couple of months listening and choosing songs I like until playlist was complete. It is rather extensive list now. I want to change phones, but don't know how to save or copy playlist. I would hate to go through all the albums again. Please help if you know the way to copy the playlist.Thanks.

Need to save music from phone... NOW!

Saturday 23rd of November 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
I've gotten a new at&t Samsung S III under warranty. I have only a few days left to return the defective one. My problem: How can I save the 400+ songs I have saved to my phone? I've downloaded them from free apps - mostly Music Paradise. I don't think they will be saved since I will have to re-install the app. It's nothing you have to log into so I don't have an account they would be saved to. They had no idea how to do it at the at&t store, although I know someone was able to do it for me a few years back with another Samsung android phone. Is there an app for this or can I save them to cloud? I know I'm not the only one that downloads free music and I can't imagine that anyone would start from scratch every time they upgraded. HELP!

How many apps can 16Gb hold?

Thursday 19th of June 2014 / forums.androidcentral.com
I use a lot of apps. I was wondering if 16GB is more than enough for apps? I use about 8GB of Spotify storage alone. I dont save pics on my phone. Just apps, games, and music. Lol. I listen to a lot of songs. Im using an iPhone 5s 16GB right now and the storage sucks. It tells me i need to delete apps. I usually get the 32GB of android phones. But just tell me what you think. T-mobile only has the 16GB version. Would this be a good phone for me? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
