How to Root Galaxy Note N7000 that runs Official XXLQ2 ICS 4.0.3 Firmware

Wednesday 06th of June 2012 / android.gs
In today’s step by step guide I will try to explain the easiest way in which you can learn how to root the Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 handset. This tutorial will be suitable only for the handsets that are running on the recently released XXLQ2 ICS 4.0.3 firmware, which is an official update, launched by Samsung for the UK and Ireland users. If you don’t know, the XXPLQ2 ROM is the most stable update available for your Note so far, so it will be a good idea to flash the same on your device.Of course, being an official release, by installing the update you will restore all the factory restrictions back to your phone. The system will be once more locked and the root access (in case you had previously gained it) will be revoked. That’s why, you must follow this tutorial, as if you want to root the XXLQ2 firmware this will be the only way possible. Don’t try to perform other steps that are explained for a different ROM as you can brick your Galaxy Note. Also, don’t apply this guide for similar devices as you can damage its system. But, why to root, you may wonder; well it’s pret

In case you are looking forward in unchaining the system of your Samsung Galaxy Grand, then you can safely use this step by step guide as during the following lines we will be checking on how to root the Galaxy Grand by using CWM recovery. Take note that this method can be applied only if your phone has been installed with a custom recovery image (you can learn how to flash CWM recovery on your Grand by using our suitable tutorial), so otherwise don’t root your handset by using the present guide. It is important to have a rooted Galaxy Grand if you want to take your phone to a higher level of performance. Also, if you are an entry level user, maybe it will be better not to perform this operation as the same is being considered risky and if you aren’t used with these types of procedures, you can end up in bricking your Android based device. By gaining root access your will free and unlock your Galaxy Grand from the factory restrictions, meaning that you will be able to access the internal system and the OS. That’s why, after rooting, you will be able to improve the performances o

How to root Galaxy tab? (Verizon)

Friday 07th of June 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hello, My dad has recently bought a new Galaxy Note tablet through Verizon, and has given me his old Galaxy tab. Since it is not my main device through Verizon, I decided to give rooting a try on it to help speed things up a bit by installing a custom ROM. I have rooted my Galaxy tab 2 7.0 (WiFI only edition) already, but I cannot find out how to root the Verizon tab 7. I have searched high and low all over Google and this site, and cannot find a successful rooting method. SuperOneClick seems to have a problem with the Verizon model, and several other methods that I researched did not work successfully on this device. I do not really want to brick it, since I still will be using it for other things, even though I own another new model. If someone knows of a way to root this device, please let me know. Thanks.
