Backup Android Phone : How to use Carbon App Sync and Backup

Saturday 06th of April 2013 / androidauthority.com
Most people neglect backing up their devices. Normally this isn’t so much of a problem as contacts and calendar events are automatically stored in the cloud, and Google can backup device settings too. Netflix Android App Update; 'WiFi only' Playback Feature to Help with Your Data Usage

Friday 07th of September 2012 / droidforums.net
Netflix has just added a new feature to their Android app with an update that could prove very useful. In fact, it's such a remarkably simple, yet useful feature that it makes you wonder why no one thought of it before. Their is now an optional setting that restricts video playback to WiFi networks. This will make it much easier to avoid any data overages with your carrier's data service. The default setting for this useful new feature is open to user discretion, so if you would like to take advantage of it, you will need to enable it. The best part of the feature is that you can still browse Netflix' library via your mobile connection, but your movie simply won't play without a WiFi connection. Neato! Of course, if you are with Sprint, or have one of T-Mobile's newest plans, then it really doesn't matter either way. For everyone else, we gotta give props to Netflix for helping us avoid overages.Source: NetflixBlog

How to stop Play app update notifications?

Sunday 22nd of July 2012 / androidforums.com
I have ICS running on my SGS2 phone and love it. However there are some apps from the Play store where I simply do not want to update anymore but they constently notify me an update is available. For example I have no interest in Google+ and they keep updating it? I do want to receive updates for other apps just not some of them. I have no interest in rooting the phone at this point either? Does anyone know how to do this or if it's possible? Thanks

How to promote android app

Friday 08th of November 2013 / droidforums.net
Hi Guys, I have some suggestions for you to promote your apps. 1 Optimize the app title and keywords. When people are looking for apps in app store, they prefer to search some keywords like shooting game, office software and etc. Optimize the title of your app’s title and description is the first thing you should do after you have developed your app.2 Make an explainer video for your app. Making an explainer video is a very cost and effective app marketing strategy, because it constantly increase the conversion rate of your app. 70% of people prefer to purchase or download app after watched a video, they are also more satisfied than those who didn't. Because a video could give the user an effective preview of the app, to help they understand an app before they actually own it. There are many great app explainer video service providers such as Appgovideo.com, Appegges.com and etc. 3. Start a blog. This is free and quite effective as well. You may announce and update the news of your app, your company and your team in your blog and you will be able to build great publicity for yo
