Safe to remove files on SD card?

Saturday 15th of October 2011 /
I have a galaxy indulge, It doesn't have the original SD card in it. The SD card that's in it was from a Huawei Ascend, that I received from a customer to put in my Messager III. I put it in my Galaxy Indulge and haven't had any REAL issue but it does act funny.... ANY WAYS; I rooted my phone and wanted to wipe all of the old andriod files and whatnot from it I need to know what's safe to remove and what's not. How to increase the internal SD card space of the Galaxy S3 I9300

Sunday 16th of December 2012 /
We use our smartphones for thousands of things but that could also mean more apps eating up our precious storage space. That’s exactly the problem of the Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300′s 16 GB of internal storage space. Even with its expandable memory, downloaded apps will still be stored in your internal storage by default. However, there is hope for us. Thanks to the XDA Developers forum, there is now a mod that will allow users to increase the size of their internal storage.Developed by XDA Developers member mattiadj, the ExtSd2InternalSd mod works by simply swapping your internal and external SD cards. Say goodbye to your measly 16 GB storage and enjoy 32, or even 64 GB, of space. It works for all AOKP and AOSP based ROMs but unfortunately not for CM10 and CM9 releases. This guide shows you how to increase the internal SD card space of the Galaxy S3 I9300.WarningThe instructions in this guide are intended for use with the Samsung Galaxy S3, model number GT-I9300. Applying these instructions on another device or model may produce undesired outcomes. The information in this g

htc desire - How to recover files from SD card on HTC Merge?

Sunday 04th of March 2012 /
So today somehow my phone completely reset itself. I went into my local wireless office and they helped me a bit. My phone has lost all of it's contacts and apps (no biggie) but the employee told me that pictures and video would still be on the SD card. I can't find my pictures anywhere on my phone. Would they still be on the SD card? If so, how can I get to them? Thanks

how to play music from sd card on htc inspire?

Saturday 07th of May 2011 /
Hey guys, when I download a song off the net from my phone using my dolphin browser I have it set up for downloads to go to SDcard/downloads. But I can't figure out or find how to get to them to play? If I use the regular browser that came with the phone and I download a song, it goes right into the music folder. That's pretty much what I want except I don't want my music on the phone I want it on the SD card! Anyone follow me here? Basically I want a music folder in my icons that I can click and play music, that is on my SD card, and that can be downloaded straight to from the phone. Please help thanks!

How to edit files on SD Card when Samsung Tab 3 (7") is mounted on Windows 7 PC

Sunday 05th of January 2014 /
I have a 7" Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (SM-T210R) with Android Version 4.1.2. I have recently purchased a Defender case for my Tab 3 that surrounds the entire tablet. Unfortunately, it's difficult to access the micro SD slot on the tablet since the casing is hard to disassemble once the tablet is placed in the case. Previously, I have been able to dismount the micro SD card from the tablet and edit files on my PC after inserting the micro SD in to an adapter. As mentioned earlier, it's difficult for me to remove the micro SD card on the tablet and so I have attempted to access the micro SD files via USB connection between my PC and tablet. I am able to access the micro SD file system on my tablet, but whenever I open a document, I find that the file is "Read Only," which consequentially inhibits me from saving any changes to the files on the tablet's micro SD card after editing the file on my PC . I was wondering if there was a way to change the tablet permissions so that I can edit files on my tablet's SD card while my tablet is connected to my PC. Thanks in advance for you
