How to delete Google History from any Android device

Tuesday 03rd of April 2012 / android.gs
As you might know, all the things you search on the web with Google is saved and stored in your phone / tablet’s internal memory. This means that everyone that is using your device is also having access to this info. Or, if you need to search for something and you use your friend’s handset for this, he will be able to check afterwards what you’ve been looking for. Therefore, if you don’t want that to happen, or if you just want to clear the Google search history, you should follow this how to guide. The best way for preventing others to have access to your personal info is to keep your Android powered device only for yourself. It’s your personal thing and it should stay that way. But, if you have kids, or if you know that other people gets in touch with your gadget then you must take some precautions. Recently, I have showed you a few ways in which you can complete that, by setting a lock code for blocking individual apps installed on your handset, or by blocking Google Play / Android Market from inappropriate downloads. Now, it’s time to see how to delete the Google searc

How to delete an Email account with Invalid Credentials

Sunday 02nd of September 2012 / forums.androidcentral.com
Found the answer on how to delete AOL or other email accounts with the dreaded invalid credentials!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Based on another post add AOL accounts back as other emails and not AOL and it should work. I haven't tested that long term but hopefully that works long term. Hope this helps somebody out. Make sure to do the last part, not the one at a time one. To delete either your Personal or Exchange email account, follow these steps: You can clear out all the email accounts you have set-up on your i1 using the Manage Applications menu. The process below describes how to delete all email accounts set-up under your Email application; not your Gmail application. You can only remove the Gmail account set-up under your Gmail application by completing a Factory Data Reset or going through your settings menu. Click here for help removing / replacing your main Gmail account accessed by your Gmail application . To delete email accounts one at a time, open the email application. Make sure you are at the "Accounts" screen that lists your multiple email accounts.

How to delete or uninstall apps?

Tuesday 11th of June 2013 / androidforums.com
I am so new to Android this time around (long story) and have had the phone 2 days. Not sure how to delete or uninstall apps, and to do so as cleanly/entirely as possible. Was wondering too if there is a general maintenance app for the phone that will do things like CCleaner or spybot does for my laptop. All thoughts most appreciated.

How to delete messages I sent while my phone is deactivated?

Friday 04th of October 2013 / androidforums.com
As the topic title says, I sent text messages from my LG-P500h android phone while my phone is currently deactivated.I see the "sent at (12:00pm or w.e)" as if it were a normal text, and I don't know if the reciever got the text or not. I figure that if a phone is deactivated it would logically mean you can't sent a text, right? In any case, if my phone is reactivated in a few months time (which it very well may be), will they recieve the text the very moment my phone is reactivated? And if so, how can I prevent the messages from being sent?I've heard you can do a factory data reset to stop the messages from being sent, or you can just manually delete the texts but will that stop them from being sent upon reactivation?Answer as soon as possible! Thanks

Creating new pages - how to delete or rearrange?

Saturday 05th of October 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
I created new pages on my new G-Note 10.1 (2014) - it allows up to 7 - and I have all 7 there. But in my not-so-infinite-wisdom, I somehow got them out of order where the Home page is second to the last. I want to start over but can't figure out how to delete the new pages. I did a long-press on the page but it doesn't offer a 'delete' option. Am I missing something obvious?
