How to delete photos on email from phone?

Monday 19th of November 2012 / androidforums.com
Hello. I have just got a new Samsung Galaxy Ace. It is running Android version 2.3.6.Build number GINGERBREAD.XXLH3 Model Number GT-18160 (I don't know what any of these things mean... just trying to give you some information.)I have connected my hotmail/outlook account to my phone and I was wondering if it were possible to make it so that when I delete/open an email on my phone, it deletes/marks as read online as well. At the moment I'm having to manage two inboxes for the same email account which is frustrating. Thanks in advance.

How to disable an email account?

Monday 17th of October 2011 / androidforums.com
First time android user here. Just picked up a GS2 last week after ditching my iphone 3gs. So still trying to adjust and learn the system. One thing I can't seem to figure out is how to 'disable' an email account. I do not want to delete it (and then have to re-enter all the account set up info). I just want to be able to temporarily remove an account from my e-mail app.I like to have my email for work turned on during the weekends, but have it disabled during the work week. With the iphone I could easily activate/deactivate any of my email accounts with a few clicks. Is there an android app i'll need to accomplish this? Thanks!

How To Delete All Emails From Account?...

Monday 19th of December 2011 / forums.androidcentral.com
...This is from an AOL email account. There is a little check-box to the left of each email. But what if I want to delete all emails from a particular account? My HTC Incredible with Android 2.2 had an option of "Delete" and then an option under that of "Select All." ICS does not seem to provide that option. And I don't want to have to put a check-mark in each box to clear my unwanted emails. Is there a way to do this in ICS? TIA

How to reinstall apps again.

Monday 27th of February 2012 / forums.androidcentral.com
I have installed some apps from Android Market to my Galaxy y. I needed to reset the factory settings and all the apps in the phone was erased. I only wanted to delete the email account. I tried to go to Android Market to reinstall. But it won't get in my phone anymore even when I click on install. There is a button that says installed. I checked on "manage account" setting and none of the applications are there. From Android market, when I click on "My Library" I see all the apps that I have downloaded before. Question: Is it not possible to reinstall these free apps again? If so how do I do it? Thanks a lot for any help.

Android Email - Empty Trash Folder?

Friday 07th of May 2010 / droidforums.net
I tried using the forum search but couldn't find an answer. I've had my Droid since it came out last November. I hate the base email program and run my company email off of Touchdown. However, I am now sync'ing my personal email (exchange based) with the base Android email store. Even tough it lacks fundamental features (move to folder, GAL, accept appointments, etc.) it works well for my personall account. My problem is that when I delete an email on the Droid the next sync will delete with my exchange account and move the message to my Droid Trash. Now I have 232 messages in my Droid trash. I've already deleted over 100, but gave up on that early on. So ... how the heck do you clear your Trash?

Android Forums - View Single Post - How to delete recent email history from yahoo account (NOT GMAIL)

Tuesday 03rd of August 2010 / androidforums.com
Same problem here for my hotmail. I sent a view emails to myself to do some tests when I first got the phone and realised that you can save the email address with/without caps. Had a play with different caps and now have about 6 different history entries for the same email address! Very annoying, any one figured this one out yet?
