How to flash _miui.polimorph_ ROM for the Galaxy S3 I9300

Tuesday 22nd of January 2013 / androidauthority.com
The _miui.polimorph_ ROM doesn't just have a unique name; the ROM itself is unique. Developed by XDA Developers member _polimorph_, the ROM promises to be fast, avant-garde, but versatile and friendly. _polimorph_ has put together the black and white look of AOSP with the colors of MIUI to produce this interesting ROM for the Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300.The ROM uses the codes of MIUIandroid's 3.1.11 hybrid and the latest CyanogenMod 10 ROM. It also loads system apps faster (thanks to being zipaligned), has a faster launcher, and has much smoother animations (thanks to kernel tweaks). You can also enjoy an extended reboot menu, the option to change LED color and pulse frequency for notifications, messages, and calls, and the handiness of the MIUI keyboard. If you're listening to music, you can easily skip to the next song by pressing the Volume rocker buttons for a second, and you can enjoy louder sound, crisper treble, and deeper bass with MBB Mega Bass Beats and DSPManager. This guide shows you how to flash _miui.polimorph_ ROM for the Galaxy S3 I9300.WarningThe instruc

Swipe to call/text feature

Thursday 21st of June 2012 / androidforums.com
Does anyone know how to remove the swipe to call/text feature when you are in your contacts list or in your messages list? It's getting annoying when I'm swiping on accident when I'm trying to send a message.http://techsplurge.com/10451/15-samsung-galaxy-s3-tips-tricks/Number 2 on the list. Also had a bunch of other random questions:1. How do you get the phone to vibrate while the phone has the ringer on when you get a text message? I've gone through settings and that doesn't work.2. What is the wallpaper size? I tried 720x1280 and that is too big.3. Is there anyway to change the messaging app and keyboard to the type that the HTC EVO 3D had while running Android 2.3? I like that one way better. I tried looking at the other messaging apps but none of them are appealing to me. Any help would be appreciated. Other than that I really like the phone.

How to set high resolution on external monitor?

Tuesday 06th of November 2012 / android.stackexchange.com
I have Samsung Galaxy S3. I connect my phone to 29 inch monitor using HML + HDMI wires. Also I connect it to Apple bluetooth keyboard and magic mouse. I get a very nice experience of Desktop. However S3 has maximum resolution of 1280x720 which does not give a nice look on big monitors.I have following questions: Can I extend my monitor screen from mobile screen so I can drag and drop apps from one to another? Can I change resolution of apps running on my monitor to higher than 1280x720.ThanksNote: External monitor does not have touch functionality.

Just a few questions...

Thursday 13th of December 2012 / forums.androidcentral.com
I am new to the samsung galaxy s3,still fidgeting and messing with things. Wondering if i should update to jellybean of just keep ics, and if i do update , which things should I uninstall before i do so? Im running nova launcher, swiftkey keyboard, and go sms pro. Those are the main apps besides some games, widgets, and themes. Will everything be deleted? Also I cannot for the life of me figure out how I did this, but I input text on my lock screen, it allowed me to type a little message, whatever you feel like putting.. Well I cant figure out how to change it now. I have nova launcher but i can't find it in those settings either. The text, on the lock screen, is located right under the date and time. Any advice would be helpful! thank you!
