Evo 4G will not boot normal or in recovery

Friday 23rd of March 2012 / androidforums.com
Hi guys,I rarely ask for help but I have been working on this for a while now and nothing has workedRight now when I start the phone it shows the white screen with "HTC EVO 4G" it then shuts off and goes back to that screen. Around it goes. Removing the battery is the only way to stop it or go into HBOOT.Information about Evo:1. It is rooted2. It was running Cyanogenmod 73. S-OFF is showing4. HBOOT-2.10.00015. MICROP-041f6. Touch Panel-ATMELC03_19ac7. Radio - 2.15.00.11.19What I have tried:1. Booting into recovery produces the same results, the boot loop described above2. I have gone to ROOTING For Dummies Guide.....the Gingerbread Edition and downloaded PC36IMG_RA_2.3.zip3. Renamed it to PC36IMG.zip and placed on root of SD card (using another phone to put sd card in)4. Also tried the one from here: [GUIDE]How to Root & unROOT Revolutionary PLUS 2.3.5/4.67.651.3 BL 2.18.0001 - xda-developers5. It updates but there is no change in the phone6. I have tried to CLEAR STORAGE and boot but no change on the phone7. I have also tried to boot without the sd card8. I have change

HTC EVO 4G LTE is coming to Sprint and BestBuy today

Thursday 24th of May 2012 / androidauthority.com
Sprint’s own take on the HTC One X, the EVO 4G LTE, should have started shipping almost a week ago, but the release had to be delayed due to an import ban. Fortunately, HTC and Sprint managed to get everything in order blazing fast, and, as promised the day before yesterday, pre-ordered EVO 4G LTE phones will start shipping today. The news isn’t officially confirmed, but we have several trustworthy sources telling us that Sprint and BestBuy will cover all pre-orders made for the EVO 4G LTE by the end of the day. InsideSprintNow has been tipped about Sprint pre-orders, while the guys at AndroidCentral managed to get their hands on a leaked memo from BestBuy, saying that “pre-orders can be fulfilled beginning as soon as inventory arrives”.If you’ve been one of the first to place your pre-order on Sprint’s or BestBuy’s websites, you should therefore expect to get that tasty EVO 4G LTE package on your doorstep, as soon as this morning. As for those of you who haven’t placed a pre-order just yet, but want to get an EVO 4G LTE as soon as possible, it’s still difficult to

HTC EVO 4G LTE: How to get track and album art information on my car's display: Root?

Saturday 23rd of June 2012 / androidforums.com
So I've been having this problem [Q] Evo 4G LTE car's usb port/bluetooth connectivity issues. Please help! - xda-developers and after posting in give different forums I ve given up.At this point, Im simply looking for a way to get my album art and track information on my car's display, whether it requires root, bluetooth, USB, no bluetooth, whatever. I just need a way to get it done. Here is what I thought of:Option 1:The linux bluetooth stack for android (Bluez) now supports AVRCP 1.3 but my EVO LTE still does not..there is something wrong with that picture. How do I make this happen? I have a Prius with a head unit that supports AVRCP 1.3 and i need to see my track data on my head units screen. I know one solution is switching to Cyanogen Mod which has already updated to AVRCP 1.3, but is there a way to simply upgrade the bluetooth stack without rooting and going to Cyanogen?Or if I must root, exactly what ROM should I use other than Cyanogen? Isnt there any sense based ROMs that have the added ability of AVRCP 1.3?Option 2: My car, in a way, does work with Media Sync USB option. Li

Help!! Evo 4g lte won't boot past bootloader and recovery!!!

Wednesday 05th of June 2013 / androidforums.com
Okay I've tried everything...I rooted my phone using the adb method and went to install a rom. Forgot to wipe after installing the rom and since then, this phone's been on the fritz! I can boot into bootloader and into TWRP recovery...that's it! Most recently, I've tried to install MeanBeam (suggested since it is more up to date and Sense based), followed other forum suggestions, but nothing! The phone will not boot up. Normally, I'd be able to fix it myself but I guess every geek has their down days! HELP PLEASE!!! And if it helps my bootloader reads as follows: TAMPEREDUNLOCKEDJWEL PVT SHIP S-ON RL HBOOT-2.09.0000RADIO-1.12.11.1210OpenDSP-v31.1.0.45.0015eMMC-bootOct 18 2012, 15:46: 20 I've read that since I am on S-ON, I have to fastboot the boot.img of these roms in order for them to boot up. The problem with that is: I cannot get this thing to "fastboot usb". I've tried two different cables and two different laptops. It will not connect. I bought this phone online and it did not come with the original cord! Am I completely screwed on this one???

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the driver called "My HTC" but it still doesn't recognize my phone. My phone is always fully charged when i do this. Can someone help?

HTC EVO 4g LTE wont charge

Saturday 05th of July 2014 / forums.androidcentral.com
My phone has always had complications charging last night I was on it while it was charging and had 14% when it suddenly shut off on me. I tried charging it again while it was off but the light would turn on to indicate that it was charging. This morning I tried charging it again and the light blinked once but then never came back on. I've tried different chargers, different wall sockets, even holding the charger at different angles but I wont charge. Is there anything I can do?
