PLEASE HELP will not even boot into cwm

Friday 11th of May 2012 / androidforums.com
PROBLEM SOLVED - THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT HELPED IN THE PROCESS :-)So to put it bluntly guys, I am a dumbass (excuse my language) and for some reason decided to root my phone before activating it? I think I was just excited but definitely did not take the right steps to make this happen.Somehow, in the whole aspect of the thing, I went to boot into recovery so that I could do a factory restore - I cannot even seem to do that. No matter what I do I cannot boot into recovery mode.So my next course of action was to try the Vol - and power button to get into /mobile so I could at least put the old recovery.img back on it and I cannot even do that. It keeps saying that it is a "read only folder" and even when changing the permissions, it doesn't stick and I am stuck with a phone I cannot use.Do you guys know of any way that I can fix this? THANK YOU SO MUCH in advance, any and all help is appreciated :-(

Drop into toilet, always boot in AP Fastboot Flash Mode, and safe mode

Saturday 08th of September 2012 / droidforums.net
Need some help from you experts. Drop my Droid Razr XT912 in the toilet bowl Tuesday nite (9/8). I retrieved it immediately. Shaked out all water from the phone. Power button was not working. So it was not able shutdown. I let it dried in uncooked rice for 24hrs.After 24hrs, turning on always got to the following (still happening now):AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S)0A.74eMMC Info: Size 16GTo return to normal mode - first press power key to power downDevice is LOCKED. Status Code: 0Battery OKOK to ProgramConnect USBData CableIt can be shutdown down with power+vol_down. Then I force boot menu with power+vol_up+vol_down.On force boot menu, vol_up and vol-down key both are not working. Cannot scroll thru the list with vol-down, cannot use vol-up to select. I can ONLY let it timeout and boot with 'Normal Powerup'.'Normal Powerup' always boot into "Safe Mode". Cannot boot into normal mode (even now). From 'Safe Mode', a lot of the applications don't work and a good number of them not display from the 'Apps' screen. Vol-down button is not working on 'Safe Mode'. GPS doesn't turn on. Th

Help! Can't boot into recovery, cannot figure out how to access phone

Monday 22nd of October 2012 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hello, I've been trying to track down a solution to my problem, but every solution seems to contain a "Boot into recovery mode" line which I cannot do. I attempted to update a rom that I had installed, and now I am stuck at the google logo with the unlock icon. I cannot boot into recovery with the volume keys and power, and now I cannot figure out how to use adb to recover the phone, as it cannot recognize it. Is there anyway I can access this phone while it is in this state from my computer and recover it somehow. I tried following leads that people have posted in other threads, but it seems like most suggestions involve "Use adb", yet every adb tutorial involves the phone being in recovery mode. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall drivers via Wug's Toolkit, but when I plug my phone in, I am not able to install the drivers properly. I try to run adb items through the console, yet it does not recognize my device. Is there anyway to install the necessary software I need and recover my phone while I cannot get past the google logo screen?Edit: I am using a verizo

Cannot boot into clockworkmod recovery

Friday 25th of November 2011 / androidforums.com
Hi guys,I'm running Villainrom 2.4, KG6Trying to flash to Villainrom 2.5 KI4 but cannot boot into cwm recovery. I've tried it through rom manager and the cmw (4.0.1.5) and the three button way.but it just keeps booting into android recovery. I'm at a loss. I can't find any apk either to reinstall cwm on the phone if that would actually help I'm unsure. I haven't done anything else I'm aware that would have caused me to not be able to boot into cwm recovery.Any help or advice would be much appreciated guys, I've followed every step-by-step to the letter thus far.

Droid cannot boot to recovery - Cyanogen circle logo spins endlessly

Thursday 18th of April 2013 / androidforums.com
Hi all,I'm having a problem with my old Droid. I had been running Cyanogen Mod 7 on it, but I somehow got it into a state where I cannot boot into recovery, and I cannot boot all the way into the Cyanogen mod.If I pull the battery and hold the power and "X" button on the keyboard, I can't get the recovery menu to come up. Once I release the buttons, it will continue on to the Cyanogen logo, but that will sit and spin for hours without loading the OS. Is there another way to get into recovery? Or some other way to get my phone up and running again? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Jeff

Infinite Boot Loop and Recovery Boot Loop

Friday 12th of July 2013 / androidforums.com
I am trying to help a friend out by working on their HTC EVO 4G, Sprint PC36100 phone. She brought it to me and it was doing nothing but boot loops. Would show the white HTC screen, vibrate, then turn off, and turn on again, and just keep doing that.I can go into the Bootloader, but I cannot go into recovery (Trying to do so, just vibrates the phone, and turns it off).I have tried going into FastBoot, however, when plugging in the USB to the computer (Have tried Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8 (non virtual machines)), and it never shows the FastBoot USB, and the system doesn't see the phone.I have tried flashing several recoveries, most notably the Aman-Ra one, but as this appears to be stock, that isn't working. I cleared the Dalvik Cache using Titanium Backup but no good....Idk what to do, cause I need to use the recovery.

[Help] Phone can only boot into CWM Recovery/Download mode. But it cannot boot into normal boot

Tuesday 07th of January 2014 / forums.androidcentral.com
When i rooted my phone using Poot and installed Superuser, everything was fine.. But, i tried to download CWM once and after it, my phone wouldn't boot into CWM Recovery even with the usual recovery button pressing.. Now[ few weeks later] i have a new problem with my phone.. ALL of my data cables wouldn't connect/ charge my S6500D when it is connected to my laptop/ Yoobao's wall charger. But but but, it seemed to be able to charge when i connected it to my authentic samsung wall charger.. The problem seemed to happen like just out of sudden .. no apps were installed before the problem happened.. any suggestions or advices? Edit : It now boots into CWM recovery even if i didn't press the recovery buttons . It will also auto boot into CWM recovery if i reboot through the CWM recovery menu.. This new problem happens when my phone reboots after "updating software". Other than that, my phone can also boot into download mode. BUT, odin is still unable to detect my phone.. Help please
