Hi. I've been trying to do a hard reset on my incredible and it isn't working. My problem prior to deciding to do such was that I was stuck on the white splash screen... When attempting the hard reset- basically, I end up with the same issue. HBOOT attempts and all have been tried. Is there anything else I can do? Every attempt to install anything from HBOOT ends in a edify scripting error or a simple update failed.Already Tried: Hard ResetSoft resetHBOOT ventures

Help! How to restore photos after hard reset on Galaxy S3

Monday 17th of September 2012 / androidforums.com
Hi Guys,I need some help on restoring photos I lost after a hard reset. I figure the photos are still somewhere in the phone and I know I can run a software to find them. But the problem is I don't know how to mount my phone into the computer as a drive so I could actually select it to scan! I could only manage to get it connected as a portable drive, is there a way so I can connect my phone as a drive?! or is there another way to recover my photos?! Thank you in advance for anyone that can help me out!

[WTA] Hard reset on ROOTED Ace? (Fac. reset)

Thursday 29th of December 2011 / android.net
As the title, I got a Samsung Galaxy Ace and I wanted to factory reset the phone using the settings there but I wonder will it works or will it damage my phone as I have rooted my phone. I have Google up and I'm not so clear about those ROM/custom ROM things. So, can I actually hard reset a ROOTED Galaxy Ace? If can't, what's the steps I should do. Thanks.

Hard Reset on Kindle Fire HD

Thursday 31st of January 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hello all, I have a question on how to perform a hard reset on a kindle fire which has been locked because the password was forgotten. This is for a friend whose son installed SpydrSafe software and subsequently forgot the pin/password on the Kindle and now my friend can't get to the More -> Devices menu to go through the normal deregistration steps and factory reset steps inside the software. So is there any combination of buttons that can be pressed to initiate a hardware reset not involving using the Android software? Thanks!
