Google calendar sync not completely syncing.

Tuesday 27th of September 2011 / droidforums.net
Operating system (e.g. WinXP): Actually: Android Gingerbread, Droid Bionic, Version: 2.3.4Program and version you use to access Google Calendar (e.g. Internet Explorer 7 or Outlook 2003): Calendar (came on phone; build version 2.3.4)Any Sync software you're using or have used (e.g. Google Calendar Sync): none that I know of...normal updating set to PUSH with no data controlling or limiting programs running. If you're using the non-Apps version of Google Calendar (accessing from google.com/calendar/render) or you're on Google Apps: Calendar App that will not allow uninstall and does not have installation from market either (at least I did not find any app named Google Calendar in the market). If you have any Labs (and which ones) or Offline enabled: no labs in google calendar are running. Some appointments show up (not PUSH like, much later). Some do not show up until I hit sync under accounts. Under accounts I click on my primary (and lone) gmail account. I hit the bottom left button and "Sync now" shows up. Everything "syncs" (Docs/Books/Contacts/Gmail) and all date

LG Spectrum Set to Receive Major Update to VS920V6, Still Isn’t Ice Cream Sandwich – Droid Life

Friday 11th of May 2012 / droid-life.com
A new update as VS920V6 is primed and ready to be rolled out to the LG Spectrum on Verizon. According to the changelog, it appears to be pretty major yet somehow is not Ice Cream Sandwich. After updating though, users will find calendar improvements, Google as the default search, new Google apps (Play, YouTube, Gmail, and Talk), and a whole bunch of bloatware. Your version of Android will be 2.3.6. Typically when we see these changelogs go live, you can expect the update to be made available shortly thereafter.Check out the full list below. The update is 127MB in size. More info.

Trick to upgrade after June 28 and still keep unlimited data...? - Page 5

The choice is compounded by the fact that this phone absolutely chews through data. I typically use about 250 MB data per month. Using the iPhone strictly over WiFi has burned up almost 1 GB the second week just getting push email, calendar, and google voice notifications. I haven't made a single call yet, and measured this over week 2 to 3 so as not to include the initial download and updating of apps. Once the LTE calls are included, I expect a hard time keeping it under 10 GB/month. No netflix, no streaming radio, no data hog programs, and it's using 4 times the data in 1 week that my old droid incredible used in a month doing even more stuff. That's the part I didn't budget in - that doing the same things on the iPhone res

Calendar sync: Works automatic from Droid to Google, only manual from Google to Droid

Saturday 18th of September 2010 / droidforums.net
OS2.1Had the Droid for 2 weeks. Worked perfectly at first. Changes on Google Calendar would automatically sync to phone calendar, and vice versa. Then, a failed attempt to use Sync for Google Apps created a mess with Outlook that trashed my Google Calendar with thousands of duplicate events. I discontinued Sync for Apps. Not knowing how else to empty the Google Calendar, I deleted it, synced using CompanionLink, and had a clean calendar both on Outlook and Google Calendar. But then Android stopped updating itself automatically when I add/delete/modify entries in Google Calendar. It only syncs when I do a manual sync in the Droid (Settings | Accounts | <chose the Google Account> | Sync now). The reverse works perfectly: add/delete/modify an event on Droid and Google Calendar updates instantly.
