Can get rid of black screen when in a phone call...

Monday 18th of October 2010 / androidforums.com
I have a problem with the new HTC Desire HD.When I make a call the screen goes blank, but I cannot get it back again, even if I press the button on the top of the phone. None of the other touch button function either meaning the only way to finish a call is to pull the battery out!

Tuesday 10th of September 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Everytime my phone connect to a wi-fi network, I get a screen that pops up and says the following: "Login Successful. You have logged in successfully and reached this page on the public internet. You may close this window." This gets really annoying when I'm at work, because the connection keeps connectind and disconnecting and this screens interrupts me every 2 minutes. Thank you for any help

Can't get rid of Split Screen!

Wednesday 30th of October 2013 / androidtablets.net
Hi Folks,I'm completely new to this and don't even know if I'm posting this in the right place, so please bear with me!- I very recently bought a Nurvo Horizon 10.1, running Android Jellybean. My problem is that while using it yesterday, the display suddenly divided into two, half sized, split screens. (I have NO IDEA why! - Perhaps I inadvertently touched some obscure screen setting?) My problem now, is being able to access any of the settings, as I can only see two half-screens!Any helpful suggestions as to how to resolve this will be most gratefully received!

When on phone I can't get rid of black screen

Thursday 21st of November 2013 / droidforums.net
I have my phone set to hang up when I tap the power button. The problem I have is that when I'm on the phone with some service person I put the speaker on and lay the phone down and the screen will go black. I can't figure out how to get a screen back where I can turn the speaker off or look at something else while I'm still on the call. If I tap the power key I lose my call.Thanks.

Google Experience Launcher - get rid of blue swipe screen?

Tuesday 26th of November 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
I've installed and set up the Google Experience Launcher on my Nexus 7, and am quite happy with it, aside from 1 thing - that stupid blue screen you have to swipe away. As far as I can tell it serves no purpose (probably there for those who use a lock? I don't.), and it gets in the way. Worst is that I use my Nexus 7 as an alarm clock, and I now have to swipe that stupid screen away to press the snooze button. Anyone know of any way to get rid of that screen? Otherwise I'm going to have to go back to stock or Nova launcher.
