Call log retrieval?

Saturday 06th of October 2012 / androidforums.com
So I deleted a very important number from my call log by accident. I pressed the number to add it to contacts, but the phone lagged for a moment and instead it went to "remove from call log" before I could save the number to my contacts. Waaaaaahhh! I need that number! I called Metro PCS and they set me up with a feature called "Call Detail", but when I looked through my recent calls (happened on Oct 2nd) it will only show me the actual number of outbound calls only. For inbound calls it just says "Number Called" then "My Phone Number" . I called them back and they told me that they do not have a way to show me the numbers of the people that have called me in any feature. I NNNNNEEEEEDDD that number! I have even dialed about 50 other numbers in attempt to get the right one. I have no other way to access the number or find this person. Is there ANY possible way I can get this call log retrieval? Im desperate. I will try any suggestions (except the one that wants to charge me $599.99 for "revealing" my deleted files lol). Any help would

xposted Help! My phone doesn't ring when husband calls

Monday 06th of August 2012 / androidforums.com
Ok, I tried a search and couldn't find anything similar. So, about a week ago I noticed that my husband had been deleted from my contacts. No big deal, figured on of the kids did it while playing with the phone. When I added him back in it didn't sync with FB to show his pic. Still, no big.As of a couple days ago, when he calls, on his end it just rings and then goes to Google Voice. On my end, it does not ring or show a missed call. I have no problem receiving calls from anyone else or calling him. Is there a setting somewhere that could be affecting this? I have to be able to get calls from the hubby. Please help!! Oh, I have a Motorola DX rooted and running CM4DX.(I did try deactivating GV for voicemail just to see and that didn't do anything.)

My Last Facebook Post Appears Under My Incoming Call Picture When I Phone Someone

Thursday 17th of March 2011 / droidforums.net
After the last Facebook update, my last Facebook post to my News Feed is now always appearing under my picture in small text when my friends receive incoming phone calls from my Droid X. I think I may have deleted the post in Facebook and can't even find it anymore there , although it keeps reappearing in phone calls. How do I erase it from appearing in their incoming phone call screens.

Droid DNA - BAD Bluetooth Car Phone Call Audio? And intermittent garbled non-BT calls?

Thursday 29th of November 2012 / forums.androidcentral.com
Got a Droid DNA on Black Friday (no deal besides $50 NE2 credit, just happoened to be Black Friday when I bought it). I upgraded from my 2-year-old Motorola Droid X, which had fallen in a stream 4 months ago and was misbehaving something fierce. I love this phone. Everything about it - the snappiness, the 4G, the screen, the camera - everything. Except the Bluetooth phone call audio. I have a Pioneer 8000BT head unit in my car, and it produced flawless call quality with the Droid X. There's no firmware upgrade I can find for the Pioneer, so I just deleted the old phone and paired the DNA. The bluetooth audio plays though the car speakers, and there's a mic on my driver's side pillar. The call quality is HORRIBLE with the DNA. On my end, it's very hard to understand the other party because the audio is very garbled. Almost as though it's over-modulated. I turned down the Bluetooth audio volume on the phone all the way , and boosted through the car stereo - no difference. Also, the people I'm talking to have said my quality has diminished since the new phone - they can instantly tell I

Stock Audio app interferes with phone calls.

Monday 29th of August 2011 / droidforums.net
Hello All,I have been searching for any posts (I'm sure they're out there) on this issue, but I cannot find anything quite like my issue. The phone does not allow me to make or receive calls due to interference from the stock audio player app. If I try to make a call, it will ring once, then the call gets disconnected and the stock audio app turns on and all i hear is whatever song it decides to play. I receive a call, say hello and same thing hangs up then plays music. When this first happened, I rooted the phone and updated to gingerbread, this did not help. I then accessed the music app and changed the file name to .bak and deleted all my mp3s on the SD card and phone. Now, I make phone calls, and it just hangs up. or best case scenario the call goes out but it is muted. I unmute it and the regular speaker doesn't work, so I put it on speaker phone once every 10 times or so the phone stays and I have a conversation, the other 9 times, the call gets hung up on. This all started with the speaker being really difficult to hear/muffled sound so I would just use the speaker phone. I go

Deleted Dialer now phone doesn't have ability to call.

Tuesday 29th of March 2011 / droidforums.net
I recently rooted my phone and went through all the apps I didn't need because I found alternatives. One of the apps that I thought I didn't need was the dialer app because I already had a good phone app. I must have deleted the wrong one because now I can't dial out. I can't received phone calls. It doesn't show any service just the grey'd out bars with an 'x' above it. I can't even access my phone details in settings. I've tried a factory reset but it gets stuck on the android welcome screen and wont do anything after tapping the screen. I was able to find a by-pass to that but It's still doing the same thing. Does anyone have any suggestions or did I delete the one app that bricks the phone! HELP!

semi-bricked my phone

Monday 23rd of July 2012 / androidforums.com
I've searched for nearly a week and haven't been able find any help that works.I've successfully rooted from 2.2.2 and deleted most of the bloatware and other crap that I don't use (keeping a log of what was killed so I could put it back on if needed).I deleted the DUNservice apps last week thinking I don't need dial up networking. after that I couldn't end calls. So I reinstalled the DUN apps.Apparently that didn't fix it. I could receive calls either. And this greatly pissed off the wife.At this time I figured I'd give CM7 (CM7.2.0RC0-VS660-BobZhome) a try.It did its thing but when the Android with the green sparkly rotating circle came up; it froze after a few minutes. So I pulled the battery and powered up again. Same thing. and the third and fourth and fifth times. Very frustrating. After using LGNPST and adb and Rom Manager and damn near everything else I could think of; the best I can get is back with the last backup that doesn't have any DATA connection. No phone calls, No Push Data, No data period. What does work is the camera, wifi, bluetooth, clock, calendar, everything else
