Where to find Adobe Flash 10.1 download for MotoDroid, Froyo 2.2

Saturday 07th of August 2010 / androidforums.com
This post is a result of over two-plus hours of research, my use of the search here and on Google, and still coming up empty. PLEASE don't flame me - I am giving what I have found for those who are in the same boat I am. I installed the Froyo 2.2 update on my hubby's MotoDroid and looked and looked for the Adobe Flash 10.1 update. It took me a while to find it for my device, and even longer for me to find again! Nevertheless, I FOUND IT and wanted to post a link for everyone who keeps asking where to find it. I used the first one, and other than being a bit newer and a bit larger, I have not tried the second one. This is for com.adobe.flashplayer-3.apk 10.1: com.adobe.flashplayer-3.apkTHIS LINK DL'S A .txt file - I am researching this! This is a link to Adobe Flash Player 10.1_10.1.61.68.apk : Adobe Flash Player 10.1_10.1.61.68.apk (thanks to nstallion)Go to one of these sites using your phone's browser and download it. After it's done downloading, pull down the window and click it. It may come up saying applications like this are blocked from being installed on your device. Select SE

Adobe Flash 10.1 Ported to HTC EVO 4G

Thursday 17th of June 2010 / androidguys.com
The boys over at XDA-Developers have done it again! Adobe Flash 10.1 for Android has been ported to the HTC EVO 4G!  The best thing about this mod is that it will allow Flash to run on Android 2.1 with no root access required!  We should mention that it is not nearly as fluid as Flash on Android 2.2Something else to mention is that this mod is even working on the Sprint HTC Hero and maybe even other/all 2.1 Sense handsets.  If I had a Droid Incredible, I would certainly be trying this one out.Check it out here! Good luck and let us know how it works. Also, let us know if it doesn’t work.Source: XDA

Adobe confirms Flash 10.1 is headed to several more Android phones

Wednesday 11th of August 2010 / talkandroid.com
So far, only a select group of Android phones, such as the HTC Evo, Nexus One and now the Motorola Droid, have been able to utilize Flash 10.1 to its fullest thanks to Android 2.2. *Well, Adobe has spilled the beans that several more devices, including the HTC Incredible, Samsung Galaxy S, Motorola Milestone and the Motorola Droid X, will be receiving Flash 10.1 via Froyo “in the coming weeks”. *Android 2.2 was announced in May, but only recently has Adobe released the full version of Flash 10.1 for Android – due to the fact that most phones just now starting to receive Froyo. *Many people have been unofficially enjoying full Flash for a while thanks to custom Froyo ROMs, but it seems that a few more will get to officially enjoy it soon, whatever “soon” means, exactly.Visit TalkAndroid for android news, android guides, and much more!Adobe confirms Flash 10.1 is headed to several more Android phones

Adobe Flash 10.1 Begins Shipping to Mobile Content Providers

Tuesday 22nd of June 2010 / phandroid.com
Today, Adobe’s announcing that Flash 10.1 is being shipped to their partners who provide content for mobile flash users.  Providers include CNET, HBO, Justin.TV, Nickelodeon, USA Network, Sony, Warner Brothers, and Viacom only to name a few. They’ve also explicitly mentioned several devices that will be getting Android 2.2 sometime down the line to take advantage of Flash Mobile 10.1 (it will be heading out of beta and into a final release the moment Froyo is available). The Google Nexus One, HTC Desire, HTC EVO 4G, Motorola Droid/Milestone, and the HTC Droid Incredible are all of the obvious candidates they mentioned, but I know many of our readers will be relieved to know that the Samsung Galaxy S is also on that list. While this doesn’t mean much for users at this very moment, you can at least expect a smorgasbord of content to be ready for you whenever Google’s just about set to release Froyo. Read on for full press details.HBO, Sony Pictures, Turner, USA Network, Viacom, Warner Brothers and Others Ready Flash Content for MobileSAN JOSE, Calif., — June 22

Final Version of Adobe Flash 10.1 Now Available for Nexus One

Monday 16th of August 2010 / androidguys.com
Big news for Adobe today as Adobe Flash 10.1 has finally exited beta.  After a string of builds, the application is finally stable enough for Adobe and you’ll be able to download 10.1.92.8 directly from the Market on a Nexus One.  I should mention that this final version seems very stable to me.  Quite excellent. No word yet on how the HTC Evo or Droid 2 are going to be able to upgrade to the final build, but I am sure we will know soon enough.  I suggest showing off Flash 10.1 to as many iPhone users are you can folks! Enjoy it!  Now all we need is streaming flash audio for background play.Source: Electronista
