Rockchip 7 inch Android Tablet - Apad iRobot (Moonse E7001) - Page 19

Tuesday 18th of May 2010 / androidtablets.net
ok, here's a few things I've noticed since I've reset my tablet to factory settings....its working a bit better now after the factory reset. For example, the built in video player now scans the sd and finds videos just like the built in audio player does for audio. Plus, it lets you veiw saved videos full screen and switch between 4:3, 720 and 16:9...The other thing I noticed is that now when I put a usb flash drive in the usb port I get a notification that its mounted and can access everything thats on it via file manager...I think it's because I made the taskpanel app autokill a couple things I shouldn't have before. Steps for Factory data reset first backup all apps and docs to sd card then under settings->sd card & mid storage is factory data reset. BE SURE TO PLUG INTO POWER BEFORE STARTING FACTORY RESET. It will come up all in chinese after reset, so before you do the reset make sure you memorize the location of settings->locale & text so you can set it back to your language. After it resets the first thing it does is come up to the calibration screen, touch the +

Managing Files

Friday 25th of June 2010 / droidforums.net
Hello all! Just upgraded from an LG EnV Touch to the ALLY (my 1st smartphone) so I'm doing a lot of reading etc. I'm quite tech friendly, but by no means a geek (Though I hope to be someday...)And truth be told...I just HATE the learning curve period on a new phone. I want to know IT ALL...NOW!I have figured out how to save a ringtone that I sent myself from phonezoo to my SD card...but now how do I get the android software to find/recognize it so that I can use it? I created folders & dragged files into them by putting the SD card in a reader via my PC and I can access them...but not sure how to find this file that I saved from the phone directly to the card. Do I have to manage my files strictly thru the PC or is there a built in file manager type thing? (Or perhaps I need to visit the Market -- and if so...does anyone LOVE the aoo they've chosen?)

New Folders Not Showing in File Managers

Friday 06th of January 2012 / forums.androidcentral.com
When I connected the Bionic to my PC by USB I added a couple of folders and have a lot of files in those folders. These "new" folders do not show up if I look with the Android Assistant file manager nor do they show up with Astro File Manager. They show up fine if I use the built in file manager with Bionic and they show up fine in Windows Explorer when connected by USB. Does everyone else that has a Bionic have this problem. If not how do I get around the ssue since I would like to use Astro File Manager. My Bionic is not rooted

HoneyBun-v1- based off official ruu

Monday 31st of May 2010 / forums.androidcentral.com
*SCREENSHOTS-page33-post-323-big thanks to Fazulka.* If you have problems with the rom, please post in this thread don't start another.Thanks.Read this post before flashing. This is based off the official RUU from Sprint and OTA.I have added wireless tether and custom memory management.(Its like a built in task killer, but in the good way).So no need for ATK.I have also put all bloatware in data/app,so it can be removed with a file manager like Astro. There is three different versions to choose from. New OTA -beta is deodex and old school a2sd. **How to delete bloatware with Astro**Open astro>press menu>select tools>application manager>choose what you want to backup/delete. **TIPS-A couple things I do that seem to help with any lag.1.turn vibrate when typeing off.2.calibrate the keyboard.3.Don't use a task killer-use something like (android system info)from market to keep a eye on system info. **Why does IcedHoneyBun have less free memory then HoneyBun?-•Entire rom has been de-odexd. ◦An odex file is basically a chunk of source code that has already been extracted

Droid Maxx Hidden Folders

Wednesday 04th of September 2013 / droidforums.net
I plugged my Maxx into my PC with the aim of transferring my Cardiotrainer tracks to my Maxx. However when I browse via Windows 7, it does not show the Cardiotrainer folder. If I unplug and use Android Assistant File Manager to browse the folders, I find the folder on the Maxx just fine.Is this because the Maxx is only allowing itself to be seen as a Media Transfer Device rather than a volume or disk? Is there anyway around this? I'd hate to lose my track history. Also, is there a built in File Manager on the Maxx like the Bionic had? OR do I have to keep using a third party one like Android Assistant? Thanks,boNes
