[Tablet`s FWDN mode]HSG MIDX5A after flashing lk.rom can`t get into FWDN

Friday 09th of March 2012 / androidtablets.net
Hey guys.....This is pretty much my first thread . I have got a Chinese android tablet called HSG MIDX5A Telechips Tcc 8902 (a.k.a. Herotab RK7, Pandawill G11 1st model) with ARM1176J2 chip. What I did yesterday is that I tried to get it into recovery mode and then somebody on IRC assisted me to flash the tablet with the recovery image using fastboot and then I got the recovery mode <3e> working but I was not able to navigate through the recovery menu using the home, back and menu buttons. However I do not have any Vloume up /down keys with this tablet .BUT this is not my problem now. After I failed to navigate through the recovery menu I decided to flash a new lk.rom file using FWDN V7 2.13 and that went fine but as you guys know I need to flash the tcc8902_mtd.img after that. Here is the problem I want to get into the FWDN mode to flash the tcc8902_mtd.img but I`ve been trying since yesterday and I was not able to go into FWDN mode. My tablet is not booting too normally. I`ve tried to make the splash screen "I love you " to still there but no hope. I`ve tried the hom

1 idiot Newbie with not 1 but 2 Chinese tablets

Tuesday 02nd of August 2011 / androidtablets.net
Man, didI get screwedROYALLY!!! I bought a tablet through E-Bay, from a company in China, notrealizing that the tablet was Chinese based and was not properly registered. When it had a problem, I contacted the seller, for a replacement, and was askedfor a $40.00 "Good Faith" deposit, which would be refunded when thedefective tablet was returned. She sent us an identical tablet with no way to return the other one. So now I have 2of these things. One is working, the other is not. Both came with the Chineseversion of the Android operating system installed. This Chinese version doesnot have a United States compatible Android Market, and some of theapplications and settings are also in Chinese. I tried to update the firmware on one, and now when booting, it willcontinually loop, and never really start before shutting down and startingagain. I am afraid to try on the other tablet, for fear of doing the samething to it. Here are the specs on the working one. Model: WonderMedia WM8650Android Version 2.2Kernal Vesion: 2.6.32.9-defaultBuidl #: generic-eng 2.2 Froyo Ver1.3.1-20110602.12

Android tablet not booting up

Monday 14th of October 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hello everyone, I recently received an Innovatek Inno Pad 10 (chinese android tablet) as a gift and the problem is that the tablet does not boot up. When I got the tablet and turned it on, it showed me an android bootloader screen and then it brought me to the android logo boot screen where it would basically go into an infinite boot sequence. I have tried charging it fully and then turning it on, I have tried un-plugging the battery and plugging it back in. I even tried re-flashing the firmware on the device using a software supplied by the company (it was very hard to find and the company's support is not that great). The flashing process was completed successfully but the tablet would still go into an infinite boot loop (I even tried re-flashing it again with no luck). Here is the worst part, there was a u-boot-nand.bin file included with the program and I decided to try and flash the tablet using that file. Now the tablet's screen won't even turn on, but the power and charge buttons still light on. I think the bootloader got messed up. Does anybody have an idea how to get this ta

Android Tablet not booting after wrong CWM install

Thursday 05th of December 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hi, I hope I'm in the right spot! I have an el-cheapo chinese 7" tablet with an Allwiner A20 dual core processor, which I bought off eBay (about tablet read "Wing", but that's about all I can remember). It has a 512mb RAM and 4gb internal storage. I also have a 32gb TF card. I thought (for some reason) that putting ClockWork Mod on would be a good idea, if I wanted to flash something like Ubuntu Touch, or CyanogenMod.Unfortunately, I hadn't reallised that the version of Clockwork Mod was not appropriate for this device, and booted to recovery.Needless to say, it didn't even make it that far... It'll only go as far as the very first logo, and no further. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and please bare in mind, I'm still a bit new!

Saturday 08th of February 2014 / androidtablets.net
I have been trying my best to get a friends Chinese p6800 onto a version of Android with Google Play access. After doing some searching decided if i just installed the Jellybean update it would do what i wanted. No version was available for China so i just tried another version I booted the tablet into download mode and installed. Odin said it installed ok but the tablet is now just stuck on the Samsung Logo. Was this the right way to install this? Kies now does not reconise the tablet but odin does and i can still install in download mode. Can anybody advise me what i can do to get the tablet booting Android again? ASUS Transformer Book Duet TD300 gets cancelled due to pressure from Google

Friday 21st of February 2014 / feedproxy.google.com
ASUS showed off their Transformer Book Duet TD300, a convertible tablet with a long name that ran both Windows 8 and Android 4.2.2, at CES just last month. The tablet looked pretty cool, giving you the best of both Android and a more traditional Windows operating system, and it could switch between the two on the fly. Unfortunately, it’s looking like the TD300 won’t ever make it past the design phase.According to a Chinese publication, ASUS has cancelled the TD300, citing resistance from Google. It was originally slated to be released in the second quarter of this year to US markets, but apparently there was something about it that Google really, really didn’t like. ASUS didn’t comment on exactly what that reasoning was.We saw a similar tablet from Samsung not too long ago that never actually made it into consumers’ hands, so maybe Google is firmly against Android OEMs making devices that run competing operating systems. It could also have something to do with Google not licensing the Play Store to be used on a dual-booting tablet. If that’s the ca
