Download Paused in Market

Monday 11th of April 2011 / forums.androidcentral.com
So I have been having a problem the last 4 or 5 days where I can't download anything from the Market. It says my download will begin shortly, and then it just goes to "Download Paused". I have read elsewhere that this has occurred a few times in the past, but never found a solution. People chalk it up to be "a problem with the Market". But mine has yet to fix itself. I am running VirusRom with a custom kernal. I didn't have any of these issues originally when I started using these though. Any suggestions? EDIT: I have tried clearing the data/cache for my market and the download manager.

Downloads Paused and Won't Restart

Sunday 24th of July 2011 / droidforums.net
This may be a very easy fix, tried to search but couldn't find much. Problem started when I tried to download an app, and it said download paused. Everytime I went back to the app, it said it was downloaded but needed to be installed. When I try to install it says the download is paused. Because I don't have it yet I can't delete it, but because the download started I can't restart. I was hoping it was just that app so I played around and now have 11 apps waiting in que, and not one will download. What do I do? (sorry if this is a really dumb question im new to smartphones.)

Market Stopped Unexpectedly - downloads paused

Tuesday 22nd of March 2011 / androidtablets.net
Higuys,Yesterday, my Huawei S7 was running perfectly.Today, I tried to update some apps, and a second after I tap the update button, a message pops up saying the (media provider) has stopped unexpectedly. The downloading update is then shown as usual with the animated barber-shop bar, but not the yellow progress indicator. Under the bar it says "Download paused." Paused? It supposed to be downloading! How do you "un-pause?" A few updates seemed to get done and one app was installed, but it took forever to happen. the most recent thing I installed was Google Voice, which is when things went funny. I uninstalled Google voice with no improvement. The same thing happens if I try to install something new.I tried restarting the tab a few times. I looked for a market update. I searched Google help, but the same problem seems to be happening a lot (with purchased apps) with nothing resolved. All the posts I read were about a year old, so I figured this should be fixed by now.Any ideas? thx

"Download paused" in Market + Wifi connects, but no internet

Sunday 17th of June 2012 / androidforums.com
Hi all, thanks for taking the time to click on this thread.1) So I've been experiencing very annoying problems with my x10. First, I can't download any apps off of Android Market using Wifi (everything is fine with 3G, but I only get 200MB a month so I don't want to use it to download). Every time I try to, it will just say "Starting download....Downloading...Download paused". I tried to clear the cache/data, signed into GTalk/Gmail, and NOTHING works. I even factory reset my phone, and the problem persists. It was such a bad move because now my phone is practically has no apps because I can't download any. After some more googling, I started to suspect that it was my router. I'm nowhere near an expert on this stuff, but people were saying something about port 5228 and how it must be open for Android Market to work. I used one of those "Open Port Detector" websites, and yes, that port was closed. So I tried to port forward it, but I could only manage to open the port on my internet's IP address and not my computer's (the one that starts with 192?).2) I'm not sure

Samsung Galaxy S2 - Charging paused. Voltage too high

Thursday 19th of July 2012 / androidforums.com
Hi all first post but this seemed a nice forum to ask some questions.About 2 weeks ago my phone developed a fault as in where it thought the charger was getting plugged in and pulled out (was making the beep noise) so i cleaned out the usb port and it disappeared for about a week. For the last week it came back so thought i would upgrade to ICS to see if that helped, seems to have made it worse as Charging paused. Voltage too high is popping up everytime battery is draining very quickly.I have read about on many fourms (Including these) and i have read that it is a USB port fault and it needs replaced. The question i have is the phone is less that 6 month old and i got it from Phones4u i have read that if i send to Phones4u they is a good chance that they will tell me it has been water damaged... I could also send it direct to Samsung (Has anyone had any dealing with Samsung direct? Do they supply postage for the phone etc?) Or i could try and repair it myself since i think i know the problem is the USB port, however would that void any warranty that is on the device?Any input would be

Samsung galaxy s2 4.0.3. battery paused voltage too high trouble

Wednesday 25th of April 2012 / androidforums.com
Really struggling to find a solution to my problems. Updated my phone through Kies to 4.0.3. now I get an error message every 30 seconds saying battery paused voltage too high. Tried new battery, tried charging 100% then taking out battery, downgrading firmware, rerooting, restoring factory settings even cleaning out the usb port. When connected to a pc this only charges the phone, only connects through Odin. When i take out usb or normal charger the battery icon on my phone shows that it is still charging up to 5 mins after disconnecting. Also battery can appear to be at 15% to 100% no matter how long the phones been charging. Please help if anyone can because im close to throwing the thing up the wall. I dont class myself to be a noob with this kinda thing but this has me stumped!!

Samsung galaxy 3 says charging paused. Battery temperature too low

Saturday 11th of May 2013 / android.stackexchange.com
I plugged in my S3 when it said 1% battery life and the red charging indicator light never came on, when i checked it a few minutes later it was at 0% and powered off. Immediately after that I tried to power it up and the power button did not work. The next day it powered up but always says Charging paused battery temp too low and will not charge. I took it to a Sprint Service Center and the lady put a new battery in it and same thing. She said I need a new phone. It is only 5 months old and i dont see how this cant be fixed! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
