Bluetooth Keyboard with Cyanogenmod 7 Spider E-series E-BTKB-B001 won't pair

Sunday 10th of April 2011 / androidtablets.net
Hello All,I've pretty much kept up with cyanogenmod's nightly updates, for those of you who use it or any other rom based on cyanogenmod 7, are you using a bluetooth keyboard?I'm looking for a standard size keyboard like on a netbook. I found this one:Spider Bluetooth Keyboard E-seriesE-BTKB-B001 on amazon which is about the same size as a netbook's keyboard.Unfortunately it requires that you type a code from your "screen" into the bluetooth keyboard to allow it to pair and connect. I've not had much luck pairing and the manufacturer provided only a link to their youtube channel to show you how to do it on an ipad/apple device. So, what types of keyboards does anyone have? Do you like it? How easy was it to pair.I'm going to cross post this on the nook forum for cyanogenmod forum to get feedback there as well. Thanks!DrBones

Sunday 09th of October 2011 / androidforums.com
I have an Apple bluetooth keyboard I'd like to pair with my Inc.The Inc has no trouble finding the keyboard when I scan for devices, but...when it finds it, it asks for a PIN to pair with it. Well, I've tried 0000, 1234, et cetera, but to no avail.Suggestions?

bluetooth keyboard with Desire/Froyo? anyone? anyone?

Sunday 01st of August 2010 / androidforums.com
Hello,I was really hoping that Froyo would fix the problems with pairing/connecting a (any) bluetooth keyboard. Alas, it still doesn't work. I've tried an apple BT keyboard and a Freedom Universal 2 BT keyboard along with various driver/apps (note: avoid Teksoft Blueinput - I bought it, it doesn't work and refund requests were refused).Has anyone had any success with any brand of BT keyboard? This is getting very nearly to a deal-breaker for me. It doesn't help that iOS4 enabled BT keyboard connection functionality with my Ipod touch. I've started using that device for work/note-taking again much to my horror.Any ideas, anyone?I've got a vanilla unlocked UK Desire with froyo 2.2 installed.

ASUS demos new TransKeyboard, a Bluetooth keyboard with built-in tablet stand

Thursday 07th of November 2013 / feedproxy.google.com
ASUS makes some of the best keyboard docking stations around, which is pretty clear looking at the success of their Transformer tablets. Their next move is to introduce a Bluetooth keyboard that’s mostly universal for all Android tablets, and they’re calling it the TransKeyboard. Not only does this keyboard have a fancy name, but it comes with an incredibly unique folding cover. The cover bends and contorts to create a stand for any device, and it’s pretty firmly held in place thanks to some magnets in the folds. It supposedly fits any device up to 10 inches, which should include just about every Android phone and tablet on the market right now. It’s tough to explain, but the video ASUS uploaded to their YouTube channel late last night gives a great demonstration of the device. It’s also completely wireless and comes with a rechargeable battery that fortunately uses a standard MicroUSB plug.Aside from the minute-long promo video, there’s no word on a release date or pricing. Hopefully ASUS will fill us in soon. In the meantime, check out the video b

Bluetooth Keyboard with N7 Problem

Saturday 23rd of November 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
I'm using an Apple bluetooth mini keyboard with the N7. Works great. However, when I turn off bluetooth on the N7, the on screen keyboard fails to come up when necessary. All is well after reboot. Am I doing something wrong? Didn't see this before KitKat update. Just saying. Maybe only with Apple keyboard?
