Galaxy S3 Bluetooth issue

Friday 26th of April 2013 / androidforums.com
OK guys. First let me start with that how surprised I am that I don't see more people complaining about this since there is no way I'm the only person having this problem. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 I9000 and I love the phone but here is my problem. Every time I try to use the Bluetooth and wifi simultaneously, to watch YouTube videos for example, my phone keeps dropping the connection to my wifi network. Note that, while it keeps recognizing my wifi it just stops being conected to it. In other words: I could be watching a YouTube video or symply browsing the internet while listening to music through my stereo Bluetooth headset, and that is music that is on my phone not streaming, and after about a couple of minutes I'd get a message that reads, not connected to the wifi network. When this happens, I go in to my wifi setting and right there under my network it says, disabled. If I press on it it will connect again just to kick me out after another couple of minutes tops. WTF Samsung? ?? I know it must be some sort of interference between the wifi signal and the Bluetooth signal. I kn

Samsung Galaxy S2 - Bluetooth car connection keeps dropping since 4.1.2 upgrade

Tuesday 09th of July 2013 / androidforums.com
Hi,I have seen similar threads before, but as yet have not see a definitive answer. Hope someone can help.I upgraded the operating system on my Galaxy S2 to Jellybean 4.1.2 a few weeks ago when it popped up as an option one day when I turned on wifi. Since then I have had problems with the Bluetooth connection in my car. It worked perfectly well before the upgrade and used to work fine with my old Samsung Jet. When I turn it on it connects ok to the car radio system. But after a approx 30 secs the connections disappears, the radio blanks out for a couple of seconds and then the Bluetooth reconnects. This happens continually and as you can imagine is very annoying - I no longer use the Bluetooth in my car. I have tried various things, un-pairing and then re-pairing my device, clearing the cache in the Bluetooth Share and Bluetooth Test on my phone, but nothing works! I haven't done a factory reset - as have seen mentioned in other places. A bit unsure about this as to what it might do to my phone. Hope someone may have an answer.Thanks.

Bluetooth randomly dropping and reconnecting during phone calls

Wednesday 28th of August 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Like the title says, I'm having this strange issue of late with my bluetooth. During a phone at random points out of no where I'll it'll lose connection during phone calls. Doesn't matter if I'm using the bluetooth system in my car or my plantronics headset. I even did a factory reset hoping that would resolve the issue somehow, but not luck. So I'm hoping one of you smart people will know something that I don't or have heard of a fix for this. Thanks in advance! Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4

Hisense Sero 7 Pro Bluetooth gaps when streaming music

Tuesday 03rd of December 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hi, Does anyone else have issues with their Sero 7 Pro streaming music uninterrupted? I have two different Bluetooth adapters, one in the car and one on my home theater. When I connect to them via Bluetooth and stream music (that is on my SD card), there are little half-second gaps every so often. I can't tell if it's the music pausing momentarily, or if the BT signal is dropping out, but it's really annoying. A large part of the reason I got this tablet was to use it as a music server, and the fact that there are little drop-outs all over the place makes for a harsh listening experience. Does anyone else have this problem? Thanks,Toby.

Major Issues with Bluetooth Peripherals

Thursday 16th of January 2014 / androidforums.com
Hey guys. So I got a Logitech Tablet Keyboard (Bluetooth) for my birthday - in order to use with my Note 3. As a result, I went out and bought a Logitech T631 Mouse (Bluetooth) to also use, so that I could have a sort of mini workstation (paired with something like Splashtop, my Note pretty much becomes my laptop.)The issue I am having is that I cannot seem to maintain any sort of decent connection with these devices with the Note. Out of curiosity, I went ahead and tried them out with my laptop. Both are working flawlessly, and have been for the past 20 minutes. However, I seem to get massive interference issues on my Note. They keyboard doesn't seem to want to maintain a stable connection (constantly dropping characters) and the mouse stutters moving around the screen. One without the other seems to work better, but they keyboard still misses many characters. I tried turning off my Note's WiFi to see if that was interfering (I had heard WiFi could do so) which did have an effect (see below) but then again my laptop is also on WiFi and can use both of these peripherals without issue

Bluetooth Issues Since Upgrade

Friday 30th of May 2014 / forums.androidcentral.com
I have the Samsung Galaxy S4 through Sprint. It initially had the Andriod 4.3 system and it worked fine. I have it linked to my car - Toyota Sienna Entune system. The Bluetooth worked great, no problems. A couple of months ago the phone upgraded to Andriod 4.42 (Kit-Kat) and I've had nothing but problems. The Bluetooth keeps dropping. I could be driving down the street or just parked in an open lot and it will disconnect from the car system. This is really bad when I'm on a phone call. Then I have to suddenly reach for my phone which defeats the purpose of 'hands-free'. There are times when I'm not even in my car and the Bluetooth will drop. This is what the screen looks like when it does drop: Also, the contacts won't update even though when I attempt to transfer or update the contacts it states 'Transfer Successful'. I took the phone to Sprint and they cleared out the Bluetooth cache and said that should fix this issue. I re-linked the phone, drove 3 blocks - Bluetooth drops!!! Am I the only one experiencing this issue or others like it? Is there a way to move back to the 4.3 vers

Bluetooth Dropping and "tablet only" app issues.

Monday 14th of July 2014 / androidforums.com
Hello! My Bluetooth drops randomly every 20 minutes or so. I also have issues updating apps because they want to do tablet only. I've tried factory resets and installing apps out of the dock with no solution. I have tried searching google for these issues, but haven't found anything yet. I've had it just over a month and really don't want to try to take it back for another device if this is an issue for others as well. Really want this to work out so I don't have to buy another tablet to go with a phone.Anyone else having these issues?
