HTC brings Bluetooth audio to (almost) any car stereo [MWC 2012]

Wednesday 29th of February 2012 / androidheadlines.com
Smartphones make great media devices, housing tons of music (and even more in the cloud) that you can take on the go. Having access to that music can mean the difference between a nerve-racking commute and one full of chill tunes and good vibes, but unless you own an iPhone it can be hard to find quality accessories to interface a handset’s audio player with your car stereo. HTC is making an attempt to solve that problem with the introduction of a new Bluetooth dongle here at Mobile World Congress 2012.The device itself is tiny, about the size of a thumbdrive, and features only a port for charging (microUSB) and buttons to power on and pair with an Android…Continue Reading HereHTC brings Bluetooth audio to (almost) any car stereo [MWC 2012]Kevin Krause – phandroid.com

Does anyone else have a problem with weak bluetooth audio sound? I have the LG HBS-700 bluetooth headset and audio was very full and rich with my Samsung Charge. However, when connected to my Razr, the audio lacks in fullness and bass... In the audio effects option, there is only Phone Speaker and Wired Stereo Devices...Anyone? Thanks! Bluetooth Audio Doesn't Work in 2010 Mazda3

Saturday 21st of November 2009 / droidforums.net
Day 2 of my Droid and I am pretty excited. I have wanted an iPhone a while, but refuse to go AT&T. So here is the 1st issue I have run into:Synced bluetooth to my 2010 Mazda3 and the phone works perfectly. The phone and music player icon come up on the dash. Th problem is that when I set my stereo to "bluetooth audio", nothing plays. My old phone (plain ol' env2) would play songs through the player. The player thinks it is working as my car will change songs, pause and play straight from the dashboard. When I play through the ,music player and then pair the phone, the bluetooth connects, the audio stops playing (all like it should), but then no sound comes out the car speakers. I have relinked and reset....seems like it should be pretty easy....ideas?

Bluetooth audio issue with Microsoft Sync

Sunday 07th of March 2010 / droidforums.net
For the first 2 months I owned my 2010 Ford Fusion, the Bluetooth Audio feature of my Droid worked flawlessly for Pandora, Music & Navigation. Around December/January, it lost the audio and I haven't had it back since. The phone bluetooth connection is unaffected, the problem is isolated to the music & nav apps that connect via "Bluetooth Audio."I've disconnected, re-paired, turned up volume on the droid & the car, you name it. This problem has been bugging me for two months. Does anyone have a fix or know if this is a known issue with Android 2.0.1 and Microsoft Sync?

Bluetooth Audio Problem

Friday 13th of April 2012 / forums.androidcentral.com
I just got a GN after having a Charge & then a Bionic. I am loving the phone, but have a bit of an issue with audio via Bluetooth. I have a 2012 Mercedes and with my Bionic it displayed the artist, title, track, etc and I could skip to the next track easily. Now My audio plays but it displays no song info and I can't switch from track to track. Any ideas? Thanks

Bluetooth Audio Timing Out after 5 minutes or so

Tuesday 25th of June 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Repro: 1. Pair bluetooth headphones.2. Start playing music3. After a few minutes (around 5), headphones stop producing music. On my phone, it's still playing, and the Beats audio symbol is still on. But my headphones have stopped playing the audio. Tried keeping the phone display on, increasing visibility timeout, etc. nothing. Happens with all apps - Spotify, Music Player, etc. Not a bluetooth headphone problem, as it stays alive fine on other devices (PC, other phones, etc). So definitely a HTC One problem. Any ideas?

Bluetooth audio problem

Tuesday 02nd of July 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
I just started using the Belkin Bluetooth Car Hands-Free Kit Amazon.com: Belkin Bluetooth Car Hands-Free Kit for Apple iPod, Apple iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android Smartphones, US Version: MP3 Players & Accessories with my HTC Rezound. The audio quality when playing music is good, but when I receive a phone call the person's voice distorts easily also the volume control on the phone doesn't drop the level of the phone audio even though it does adjust the audio level when playing music. Any way to fix that? Otherwise this is an excellent bluetooth adapter. Had been dealing with the headphone jack on my phone being intermittent and the MHL wouldn't pass the audio when receiving a call so I finally found this adapter. If the call audio quality can be improved I may buy another one of these for use around the house.

G2 Bluetooth Audio Problem

Thursday 07th of November 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Howdy,I just got an AT&T LG G2 this week and I was loving it till I paired it with my car (2014 Subaru Outback)... Bluetooth pairs no problem but only the google music app works. Pandora, Audible, and google turn by turn apps will not play through the bluetooth connection. Any one else having this issue? It seems as if the it cuts of the audio after the music app stops playing. I can get sound for 2 secs after I pause but then nothing. I tried disabling the google music app and the LG music app to see if it was an auto connect issue but neither worked. If I'm on a phone call I can hear the apps in the background. Thoughts? Thanks PS I had a Galaxy Note before the G2 and it worked with no problems.

Bluetooth Audio Problem

Monday 02nd of December 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hello all, I have a RAZR M running 4.1.2 and 98.18.94.XT907.Verizon.en.US (obviously on Verizon) and I am experiencing odd bluetooth audio problems. The phone plays sound great through any AUX plug-in and has no issue playing through the built-in speaker, yet when I connect to my bluetooth speaker (Jawbone Jambox), I get no sound from the jambox itself. I have never had an issue playing audio through my jambox over the phone's bluetooth, but as of late, this issue seems to be here to stay. What is really strange is that, despite showing a successful connection, I get all audio through the phone earpiece speaker at a very low level. Also, instead of the volume slider displaying the Bluetooth logo when pressing the volume rocker, it displays a phone icon when nothing is running, and the plain speaker icon when an app such as Google Play Music runs. Both my PC and iPod touch play through the jambox without fault. I have done some searching without finding a solution. I have unpaired and repaired the jambox, cleared the temporary system cache, double checked that the "Media audio&qu

Bluetooth Audio on Custom Roms?

Sunday 19th of January 2014 / androidforums.com
My niece has a VM Optimus Elite that she has rooted and installed recovery and is ready for a ROM. I've been reading to pick one out for her, but it appears there is a widespread problem with Bluetooth Audio not working with custom ROMs. How far back will she have to go to choose a ROM with working bluetooth audio? Is there a 3rd party app or hack to get around the issue with newer ROMs?
