Red Exclamation Mark in White Triangle and Blue Android Logo

Monday 14th of May 2012 / androidforums.com
My phone is the Samsung Epic 4G and I was trying to install the new firmware update FC09 (if I'm not mistaken, this is what it's called). But the thing is, I forgot to unroot my phone before the installation. Now my screen is stuck with a black screen with a red exclamation mark inside a white triangle, with a blue android logo underneath it. I've seen somewhat similar threads regarding this in here, but none with my exact problem/issue description. I'm tempted to take out the battery to reset it, but the last time I did that with an earlier update (not sure if I got the exact same screen as I have now though), it hard bricked my phone. So, I would like to get a direct answer for my issue and what should I do with my phone.

SBF'ed DX now have a Blue triangle and no Data

Wednesday 25th of May 2011 / droidforums.net
I have Sbf'ed for the first time, using rsdlite and after booting my device up in 2.3.34, there is a blue triangle in my notification bar and I have NO data reception. As you might understand issues like this drive my obssessive compulsiveness through the roof, Im slightly new to the rooting and was just trying to get back to normal old froyo. Now it seems I've screwed up. I have tried dialing *228 (I dont know if that makes sense but it was all I could come up with). Also since I was on Apex before I Sbf'ed I still have the Apex start up logo. Not a fan. I could really use some help!*Also, it looks as though I am no longer rooted..

Gingerbread for Page Plus users

Wednesday 30th of March 2011 / droidforums.net
This will teach you how to program your phone to Page Plus after the Gingerbread install and had issue with the blue triangle that won't go away next to the signals bars in the top right cornerIf you upgraded your Droid X phone to the Android 2.3 Gingerbread with no Root then this is for you.If you have installed the Gingerbread with the pre root installed and if you have that blue triangle that is located in the notification status bar next to the wifi bars and the reception signal bars like a light blueish triangle and it won't go away, then all you need to do sbf back to froyo and then the trangle will still appear and you type *228 and press 1 to activate, if you try to activate your phone by using *228 in Gingerbread, it will try to take you to a live representative and you DO NOT want to do that, they will blacklist your ESN number and tug to get a verizon plan.in other words, *228 does not work in Gingerbread, it will not program it automatically like it did in Froyo, because the installed wiped out evertyhing and i mean everything, that is why you have the UNKNOWN NETWORK if

Google Maps?

Saturday 04th of August 2012 / droidforums.net
Hello, all.I noticed a difference with Google Maps since upgrading to ICS....With GB, the location icon (blue triangle) was always present and rotated with phone orientation change (even when stationary). Now, with ICS, the location icon is a blinking blue dot (when stationary) that changes to the directional blue triangle only when in motion; reverting to blue dot when you stop. I miss the directional blue triangle that rotates with phone orientation when at a stopped position.Also...What should be checked for the most accurate positioning?...- Google location services.- Standalone GPS services.- VZW location services.Thank you.

Blue Triangle on DX. HELP!

Saturday 02nd of April 2011 / droidforums.net
After installing the deodexed Gingerbread on my DX (regular rooted GB was fine before I deodexed it), I went through setup and was not able to activate my phone. I now have a Blue Triangle on the status bar and it is still there after I went back to stock. Anyone have this problem besides me and know how to fix it? I would also like to go back to the speedier Gingerbread also.
