car audio via aux issue

Friday 02nd of July 2010 / droidforums.net
I have my droid plugged into my Kenwood KDC-HD545U head unit via the aux input. The sound work fine - blah blah blah....but let's say I'm listening to Pandora and arrive at my destination. I turn the vehicle off and unplug my phone and go on about my business. When I get back in the vehicle the head unit does not work....it has power, but there is no sound. I have to power off the vehicle again to get it to seemingly reset itself seemingly before I have sound again. I have checked/triple checked my wiring. The problem does not happen if go several times...off/on/off/on with just radio. I had the same issue with another head unit, and I thought it was the head unit because it was a cheap one. Can anyone offer any help? If it matters, the vehicle is a GM vehicle...TIA

Aux input.

Wednesday 18th of January 2012 / droidforums.net
I normally use my iPod ( yeah yeah i know) to listen to music while im in the car but my cable broke for that and now Ive been using just the standard AUX cable, my problem is that it only plays in the left speaker. I love android but that is one area where they are lagging behind apple. EVERYTHING is made for iPod. On second thought they probably copyrighted everything so google cant do anything about it. Is there anything I can do about this? is it a faulty nexus or is google just lagging behind?Id rather not spend anything over 25 bucks for something if I can avoid t. It seems like the aux cable would work just fine : (

Aux output not loud enough

Thursday 27th of September 2012 / androidforums.com
Ok so im having a massive issue regarding Samsung Galaxy S3's volume output specificially out of headphones (any) AND the car stereo Aux jack.So for comparison i played the same song on the same headphones on my Iphone 4 and then my GS3 and the GS3 on maximum volume is barely halfway compared to the iphone 4. When i plug it into the car aux input you cant hear it at all even with the car stereo volume being on maximum...all my mates reakon the GS3 is shit because of this reason..Ive been reading that the international version has some restriction on the volume output due to EUROPEAN regulations but guess what samsung AUSTRALIA has no laws so if this is true wtf...Does anyone have any real solutions to this problem that doesnt involve jerky distorted equilizer amplifications that totally ruin the song? Some sort of app or rooting? If anyone manages to resolve this problme i'll send you a reward through steam or paypal

AUX input and my GM Car

Wednesday 24th of August 2011 / androidforums.com
Ok, I have the HTC Inspire for AT&T and I have been having a problem lately. With my iphone, I could connect the phone to my car (using the USB) and it would automatically show up as an auxiliary input, which was cool because I could run Pandora directly through my car stereo. When I plug in my Inspire, it doesn't automatically register on my car as an aux input...therefore, I can't use it to play Pandora. Is there a setting I'm missing here to use my phone for this purpose? I've looked through the settings and can't seem to find anything. Has anyone else had (and solved) this problem?

Problems using Pandora app with aux cable

Sunday 21st of August 2011 / droidforums.net
My husband has the casio commando and is trying to connect to his GMC Sierra with an aux cable. It will not play Pandora through his truck, it still plays it through the phone. I've tried his phone in my honda crv and it works fine. I've also tried my htc incredible in his truck and that also works fine so I can figure out where the problem is. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks.

Problem listening to phone through headphone jack...

Wednesday 06th of April 2011 / droidforums.net
So From March 2010 till yesterday, I had the original Droid. The phone was great, but it was starting to "get slow" for my needs. Then I dropped it. I broke the screen on it. Anyways, I ended up with this HTC Thunderbolt. I like it, I'm learning more stuff about it everytime I use it. I am, however, having a problem. On my old droid, I had tons of music on it. I would plug it into the aux port on my radio, via the headphone jack. I could listen to music, then my ringtone would come through over my truck speakers, and I would hit the answer button to answer. I could talk as if the phone was on speaker, and the person who I was taking through's voice would come over the truck speakers. With my new Thunderbolt, I can listen to music fine, and the ringtone still comes across. However, when I answer the phone, the person on the other end cannot hear me if I talk into the phone (while it is plugged into the aux port on the stereo.) Is there a setting I need to change or mess with? Thanks in advance.

Droid Bionic AUX car stereo cable won't fit

Monday 17th of June 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
I know this has been asked before but I couldn't find an answer. I bought a 3.5mm aux jack at BestBuy and it worked great for an ipod but not my bionic. Returned it and got a DYNEX 3 foot 3.5mm stereo audio cable. Once again, it doesn't work. I don't get it because I thought droids used a 3.5mm audio jack? I have no problem plugging in head phones or anything and it's not the cable because it works for ipods. I've tried to put it in another droid but the two rings on the jack don't fit in like it should. Is there a specific Android aux cable? Oh and I drive a Ford Taurus with a compatible radio but that shouldn't affect anything.

I got a problem dont know whether it is from the aux or the phone or the car?

Wednesday 30th of October 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
I could not hear sound while my phone is connected to the aux but before I used to hear sound through the car speakers now it doesnt. I recieve a message whenever the phone gets disconnected from the aux and it says: "This sound effect works only through earphone mode only" (first time to get this message). I restarted the phone and still the same problem. Btw it is a galaxy s4.

galaxy s4 and aux car radio issue

Friday 13th of December 2013 / androidforums.com
Hi, I have just bought a galaxy s4 mini after being an iphone user for years. I have got an audiobook on google play and went to play it through my seat ibiza fr aux cable - it sounds dreadful! Tinny and whiney and totally "unlistenable" . I plugged in my iphone to make sure it wasn't the car or the cable, and it was perfect. So I know the phone is the issue here.I am using the built in aux port and plugging it Into the headphones port. When I listen using headphones, there is no problem with the sound.is there anything that can be done? as I am currently spending hours to convert my audiobooks from itunes.I am impressed so far with this phone, but if I can't listen to music on it in my car then I will be so cross!!cheers
