We have the wallpaper for you above. Not bad, right?Should you run into issues grabbing it from the embed above, you can also snag it here. Multi-user accounts on the Nexus 10

Tuesday 13th of November 2012 / androidcentral.com
The consumer release version of Android 4.2 just hit our review devices, and I had to dive in and check out multiple user accounts on the Nexus 10. It's been in the works since Honeycomb, and quite a few of us are looking forward to being able to share one device with our significant other, or with our kids, or anyone. All without the privacy concern of letting them have access to your Google credentials.I'm not sure just what we were expecting (myself included), but the process was super simple. You can add and remove users at will, and the whole process only takes a minute or two.According to the information we have, each user gets their own space for their own apps, desktop customizations, Google account, and just about every personal setting that would apply. Of course some global settings -- for example Wifi settings or app permission updates -- are global, but for the most part it seems a lot like switching users on your computer at home. Our devices aren't yet rooted (I did unlock but had to stay ready for the OTA -- that will change shortly) so I can't really

From the Android Forums: Multiple Google accounts on one device for Google Play

Monday 20th of August 2012 / androidcentral.com
Super Turtleman asks in the Android forums,My kids are getting to the age where they're about to start having Android devices. I'd like to create a master account I can have on my phone (separate from my current google account) that I can use to download apps onto my kid's devices. Is there a simple way to do this? Can I have two different google accounts on one device and have them not interfere with each other?Lucky kids! We think it's great that you're exposing your children to Android, and even better that you're exploring options to provide them with awesome games and apps. The good news is, what you want to do is easy!Open Google Play on your device, and tap the action bar (or menu button, as the case may be), and select "Accounts" from the list. A new window will open, listing the current active Google accounts in use on your phone or tablet. If the account you want to use is not listed, tap the "Add account" button and follow the prompts to add a new or existing Google account. Make sure this account is selected when purchasing an

Where does Google Play Music store music files on the device?

Wednesday 10th of April 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
I have music that is playable with Google Play Music player, but not with other players. I have chosen for the music to be "on the device", and it plays when even in Airplane Mode, so I know it is not streaming, but the music files do not show up in my "Music" directory tree, or under any other file trees that I can find. I have used ES File Explorer to do a top down search for some of the missing titles, but it doesn't find them. I'm perplexed. There must be a cache somewhere, but I can't find it.

applications - How do I run an AIR app on the device?

Friday 29th of October 2010 / android.stackexchange.com
I've installed Adobe Air, and I have a few AIR apps that I have built over time and am curious to see how they will look running on the device, but am not clear on how to install them.I uploaded the app to the phone but clicking on the .air file doesn't provoke an installation process, instead, it just opens the browser and attempts to display it (and fails, obviously). What to to do?

Is the app selection still scarce on the Nexus 10?

Thursday 16th of May 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Since my Nexus 7 shattered and no longer works, I'm in the market for a new tablet and willing to go up a little bit higher in price than the N7 - so for all of you Nexus 10 users, is app selection still as scarce on the device as it was at launch? Much of what I've been able to find online and on the forums addressed app selection months ago, which seemed to be tepid, but I'm wondering if the N10 gets the job done when it comes to a wide variety of applications, and what N10 users' experience has been in using apps that do work with the device. I've heard that a lot of N10-compatible apps are not optimized for a tablet experience and thus don't take much advantage of the 10 inch screen. I'm admittedly not the biggest fan of a 10-inch screen, but I'm willing to try it out, especially since much of what I used my N7 for was casual browsing, watching movies and TV, playing games, and looking at photos/etc. Let me know what you think - I'd greatly appreciate your insight!

App permission 'Find accounts on the device'

Saturday 05th of October 2013 / droidforums.net
Does this permission allow an app to find every account on your phone, or, is it because you're going to give them an email address in order to set up an account? Thank you!Sent from my Note 2 using SwiftKey
