Straight Talk APN Settings for Internet and MMS for At&T Samsung Galaxy SII Skyrocket

Saturday 30th of March 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Like many new ST customers, I had issues with my service, as well. I am using an At&t Samsung Galaxy II Skyrocket, on Straight Talk, running Jellybean 4.2. I recently activated my Skyrocket on ST and had issues accessing the internet and sending/receiving mms with the APN setting that ST has on its website. After putting these APN settings in, below, my calls, internet, & mms are now all working great. I have all 4 bars inside of my house, I am able to send and receive pic txt & calls, & access the internet. After saving these APN settings, powering down my phone, and then restarting my phone, it took a good hour or so before everything started working properly. My APN settings are: Name: straight talk APN: att.mvno Proxy: proxy.mvno.tracfone.com Port: 80 Server: not set MMSC: MMS proxy: mms2.tracfone.com MMS port: 80 MCC:310 MNC: 410 Authentication type: none APN type: not set I hope this helps.....

Add/Change APN settings in AT&T galaxys4

Friday 03rd of May 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
I am trying to set up my AT&T S4 for NET10 service provider. Everything was going fine until I needed to add/edit the APN settings so that I can use data and MMS. How do I make it so that the APN settings can be added/changed. Obviously AT&T has this blocked out. Thanks for any help. I am willing to learn and make changes, but I just need to know the steps and a way out if necessary so that the phone doesn't become a paperweight. more info....I have a Samsung Galaxy s4 SGH-1337. It is locked to At&T network but I am using it with the NET10 service provider which utilizes the AT&T network. I need to be able to change the APN settings for NET10, but when I go to the area to edit/add this information I cannot change any of the AT&T APN settings because they are greyed out and unchangeable. Will UNLOCKING my phone allow me to be able to change the APN settings?? I can currently make calls and texts on the AT&T network using the NET10 service. But, because I cannot change the APN settings, I cannot access Data or MMS. I'm trying to figure out if unlocking is the r

APN Settings for Digicel

Thursday 26th of April 2012 / androidforums.com
Hi Everyone:I have a Samsung Galaxy Europa and I wanted to get the Internet and MMS settings for Digicel Jamaica. I spoke with the Customer Care Rep but they could not send the settings directly to my phone . They suggested that I use *151# but when I used that then the message was:"Your request cannot be completed. Either your phone cannot be set-up for GPRS settings or you are using a Blackberry phone"and"Your request cannot be completed. Either your phone cannot be set-up for MMS settings or you are using a Blackberry phone"There was a similair post where someone posted the APN settings for Lime but I need it for Digicel. I already tried a variety of settings that I found online. Any suggestions?

Uneditable / Can't change APN settings

Monday 09th of September 2013 / androidforums.com
Hi all and I know you must get this question a lot on here about APN's but I have search the forum but come up with nothing that suffices this question. I have the Note 2 on O2-UK, and im unable to to change the APN settings for MMS. It's not a straight forward, settings, mobile network, APN etc as I already know how to get there and add new / change existing APN's. BUT, this seems to be abit different in concept. I can't send or receive MMS, the actual data network APN is set correct (as for O2 they require two APN, one for internet and another for MMS). 1/. The O2 Web APN has a green selectable button to the right so you can select and chane to different APN's (if required, but I only have O2;s one active and it works fine). 2/. MMS APN, doesn't have the green selectable button as it's a different active setting and runs without needing to be selected. Now for the problem; After calling O2 they have sent me in my email a complete indepth description on the exact settings for the APN's.As I said the web selectable setting is spot-on. The MMS APN I have browsed down the list of setti

MMS Straight Talk Issue. CORRECT APN SETTINGS

Saturday 04th of January 2014 / forums.androidcentral.com
Ok so I spent 4 hours on the phone with the Straight Talk and I finally got the correct APN settings for my Google Nexus 5 phone to send and receive MMS messages. I was really frustrating dealing with the high call volume issues that Staight Talks Customer Service experiences, but everyone I actually talked to was the typical customer service niceness. Faked, but pleasant. Here are the screen shots of my settings and Ill type them out as well. This is for the AT&T micro sim card inserted into a Google nexus 5 phone. 4.4 Android. Name=Straight Talk APN=tfdata Proxy=not set Port=Not set Username=not set Password=not set Server=Not Set MMSC= MMS proxy = mms3.tracfone.com MMS PORT=80 MCC=310 MNC=410 Authentication Type=PAP APN type=default, supl, mms, hipri APN Protocol=IPv4 APN Roaming Protocol=IPv4 Bearer= unspecified MVNO type=None
