A2109 Compatible - Logitech K120 wired USB Keyboard JB 4.1.1

Tuesday 23rd of April 2013 / androidtablets.net
Plugged it in via OTG cable, IdeaTab immediately recognized it, did not bring up the Android keyboard at all. I used it with FireFox. Based off this behavior, I would bet that using an unpowered hub would work with a USB wired mouse....

A2109 compatible Logitech M310 through powered hub JB 4.1.1

Tuesday 23rd of April 2013 / androidtablets.net
Hooked my A2109 to the upstream USB 2 port of my ViewSonic 1945 LCD Monitor, the Logitech M310 wireless mouse was immediately identified and appeared on the IdeaTab's screen. The scroll is supported on an app by app basis.Able to get into settings, both the K120 keyboard and the M310 mouse are there in settings, (the mouse has only a double-click entry, looks Android standard?)

Android v4.0.3 does not work with external USB keyboard - Page 4

Tuesday 26th of June 2012 / androidtablets.net
It seems that we are in the same boat.Hitting our heads against the wall with this tablet and its USB Ports. USB 2.0 Port *1 <- This comment must apply only to this port, if it ever works: (Support 3G USB-Dongle Internet Card, USB Drive, USB Mouse, USB Keyboard)MiniUSB 1.0 Port *1 <- has a 'Slave' architecture!!! The keyboard is also 'slave', and the slave to slave configuration produces nothing, zippo, nada... In order for the slave keyboard to work on the MiniUsb, the MiniUSB needs to be 'On the Go', or, maybe there is a proprietary cable that changes the configuration on the MiniUSB 1.0? The question is, where to find a proprietary miniUSB male to USB 2.0 female adapter or cable to try out a keyboard, if it is not included with the tablet? Today, I already purchased and returned a non proprietary miniUSB male to USB 2.0 adapter, and a cable, bought at different stores.Have posted at a couple of places to see if Ubuntu is an option, and will not make the tablet a mini-chopping board to use in the kitchen!!Enjoy:So papa, how do you like the iPad we got you? - Snotr

After JB 4.2.1 Upgrade New Books not Showing up in /on My Bookshelf App

Thursday 18th of April 2013 / androidforums.com
Updating to JB 4.2 everything seems to went well but now when I use Calibre to load my epub books or when I use the drag & drop method to add books, the books are not showing up in "My Bookshelf" app. I can go to "File Manager" and do a manual search under "Books", They are there and I can touch and open and read them. That's not fun since I have over 150 books loaded. they are not DRM protected. Before I go to another app for my books, is anyone else having and found a solution to this problem???? Thanking you before hand for your replies....

Running JB 4.2.1 and it kinda sucks...

Sunday 10th of March 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
I'll start off by saying I'm a newb to smartphones in general (Last one I had was a Nokia 6600 which was released in 2003), my wife needed a new phone since I water damaged mine and she gave me hers. I picked up an almost-mint condition Droid Incredible off of eBay for just under $60. It came with 2.2 which she loved mainly due to its ease to use, the simple methods to change the aesthetics to what she wanted and it was responsive, etc. Well I thought, let's play with it and boy have I been learning! It's on clockworksmod 5.x and running JB 4.2.1 kernel 2.6.38.8-evervolv-dives-jellybean baseband 2.15.00.07.28It runs much slower at times which I did sort of expect. But just as much of an issue as that is that she wants to make it look like 2.2 did and be as easy to customize etc as 2.2I've spent time trying to find ways to do this, but rather than waste more time I thought I would just ask here. My frustration is mainly in how much something as simple and integrated as the phone settings crashes?! every single time I try to open storage under settings it crashes. Plus, several other ap
